Great Mini PC
I purchased the KAMRUI GK3Plus Mini PC with 16GB RAM and 512GB M.2 SSD, and it has been fantastic! I bought it as an inexpensive replacement for my mother-in-law’s old PC that couldn’t run Windows 11. This little machine handles Windows 11 perfectly and then some! While it doesn’t include USB-C ports, that wasn’t a dealbreaker. I simply added a USB dock, and it meets all her needs. It also features dual HDMI outputs, making it easy to connect multiple monitors. The performance is impressive for such a compact device—perfect for browsing the web, checking email, and streaming videos, which is exactly what she uses it for. Honestly, it would also make a great option for school or college work. I did run into a minor issue where it wouldn’t power on after a few months, but their support team was excellent. I called the 800 number, worked with advanced support via email for a few days, and they resolved the problem quickly. Overall: 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a reliable, no-frills machine that gets the job done at a great price.

A Vast Improvement Over My Older Windows Computers
I have had my new KAMRUI GK3 PLUS for several days now, and I must say it has been a delightful surprise coming from an older version of Windows and an older desktop computer. What a breath of fresh air! It is about the size of a double decker grilled cheese sandwich with double decker performance. I was pleasantly surprised at the speed....not an untamed blur, but very very manageable. I don't do all the performance testing of professionals, just my own tests in comparison of all the computers I have owned over the years. This KAMRUI is the fastest Windows machine I have owned personally. Of course I have not owned the most expensive gaming machines or some of the more expensive video editing computers, but I have always bought and ran low to mid-level consumer computers for home use, and I can say this one outperforms all the others (I personally) have owned. Of course technology moves fast, and the mini is a good example of that. It was very easy to set up, although the updates did take 45 minutes or so, and I did them without any peripherals attached except a keyboard. Since the original updates, it has asked me to update a couple times since, and I did quickly and without a hitch. So far, not a single freeze up, just a clean running computer. I run a lot of YouTube videos, and they are crystal clear, do not freeze, buffer, or distort. I also do desktop publishing and most other office type requirements without any problem at all so far. If the saying "You get what you pay for" is really true, then it is doubly true with this KAMRUI mini computer. For $149-$169 dollars, I just don't see where one could go wrong for the AVERAGE use of a home computer. All peripherals work as they should including stand alone DVD/RW read/write and burn. Works great. Keyboard, mouse, monitor, external hard-drive, and printer are all working flawlessly. I'm impressed by the performance of KAMRUI's package in such a small form. Will it perform as well as an Intel i9.....no, it wasn't meant to. Price one of those. Five stars from this user, because for me, it lives up to the description listed on Amazon. I hope anyone that reads this and buys one, finds the same satisfaction I have. I took a chance on the mini as opposed to going back to a cumbersome tower and all that, and I am a happy camper so far. Longevity? Only time will tell, as with all and anything electronic.

Great Mini Mini PC
The Kamrui Pinova really surprised me. It’s fast, quiet, and perfect for everyday work and streaming. The compact size keeps my desk clean, but it still delivers smooth performance and plenty of ports. For the price, it’s an excellent little powerhouse.

Nice for the price. Wifi is not consistant.
This is a great mini PC. For the price, it's unbeatable. Super easy to hook up, it comes with a power cable and a HDMI cable. I used my own HDMI but it's nice that it came with one in case I didn't have one. It fits under my monitor riser perfectly and I like the small footprint. I got this because I was using my laptop as a desktop and then having to unhook everything to take it with me when I need to leave my desk, which was annoying. I didn't want to spend a lot and honestly, I really use this for word processing, emails, and light photo work. So I'm not gaming and I'm not stressing the RAM at all really. It's 'snappy' as a lot of other reviews have commented, but it is not as fast as my LG Gram. Granted, my LG Gram was like 800 bucks and it's got twice the RAM and hard drive. So, again, not a fair comparison. The only downside, *actual* downside, that I found is the wifi. I don't know if it's a software or hardware issue...I know others have commented on it as well, it's true, the wifi does *weird* things. I am literally five feet from my router. None of my other devices will have an issue, just the mini pc. It will go from three bars of wifi down to two then to one then just the little dot, if I turn the wifi off, then back on, presto-fixo- it works again. If that doesn't do it, I have to restart the computer which takes like a single minute to do. The point is though, I notice it when I'm trying to send an email or watch a video clip for work, and it's super annoying to have to shut off the wifi and turn it back on again to get it to work. It wasn't as common right when I set everything up. It took it a week to really start up as a repeat issue, but now I'm worried I'm going to be battling the wifi for as long as I keep this. Just today I've had to toggle it off and on four times. Since other reviewers have the same issue, I'm not sure getting a replacement will help. This will do for now, I'll suck it up and deal with it, but I don't know that I would buy this again because of the wifi problem.

Very good computer
This is an excellent computer. I love it. Works beautifully. Easy setup. Very quiet. A powerful machine. I did take the extended warranty just in case.

Good little computer, wish it had a more complete manual
Nice compact, but powerful computer. It is pretty much ready to use, as it comes out of the box. You will only need to finish the Windows install process, which consists of a few questions to customize your installation to your keyboard, time zone, location, and end user login. If you DON'T want to have a password to enter each time you turn it on, you can leave the password item blank, after you have entered your username. You can always change to a having password later, but I don't think you can remove the password requirement if you fill it in at this time. This unit is quiet and small enough to tuck away, even behind your monitor via the included VESA mounting bracket. Wherever you place it remember that like all computers it will get warm, so be sure it has air space around it for the fan to circulate cooling air. It has Windows 11 pre-installed, which will work fine for 99% of the users. I wanted to use it for a media server in my RV, so I wanted to install Linux, which has more flexibility and is faster booting. On my first attempts, I entered the BIOS settings and changed the "Display Delay" setting. Unfortunately, it caused the display to not work, on either HDMI or VGA. I contacted customer service, and Kin, the rep., nicely replaced the unit under warranty. I did find out later that it would have been possible to clear the BIOS back to defaults, but with no display, that would have required opening the case and removing the motherboard, as the CMOS battery is underneath the MB. I can see why they would not trust the typical user with doing this. The pictures above show the Linux Mint 21.1 64 Bit install. I did it as a dual boot, just so that I would be able to access Win 11 if I wanted to. To do this, you need to have some experience with loading OS's on a computer, and working with BIOS settings. DO NOT attempt it if you have not done this before! To load Linux, you will need a bootable version on a USB drive. Plug in the thumbdrive, start the computer, then press the DEL key repeatedly. It should go into the BIOS settings. Leave all of the settings alone, except the following. Go to the SECURITY tab and select SECURE BOOT. Press enter and then go down until you reach SECURE BOOT. Press enter, and select DISABLE. go back up and go to the BOOT menu. The computer will see the thumbdrive and so you can select it as the 1st BOOT OPTION. Note, a thumbdrive must be present for the option to boot from USB to appear. It will not say USB, but will name the manufacturer of the drive that is plugged in. Do an F4 to save and close. Restart the computer and it should boot from the Linux on the USB. Follow the process as it boots. It will eventually have a working, but uninstalled version for you to try. At this point you can shutdown without making any changes to your computer if you don't want to install it. There will be the option to install showing on the desktop. Click on install and follow the prompts. At some point you will have the option to dual boot, which retains your Windows install, or to clear the drive and install Linux. If you opted for dual boot, it will partition the internal SSD to 2 parts splitting the space between Windows and Linux. Once this is done and the install is finished, it will reboot, and the option of Windows 11 or Linux will be shown during boot. Use the arrow keys to select which one, and press enter.

So far, so good
I've had this for a handful of days now and so far no issues. It is very quick and responsive. Initial set up took a little while but that was because of all the Windows updates which you have to do with every computer. I'm using this as a HTPC (Home Theater PC) to run Plex for my movie and music collection. My previous mini PC was a Dell and it started displaying a blinking orange light which after google searches suggested the motherboard was shot. So, I did some research on the Kamrui and all reviews seemed positive so I decided to purchase it as it was relatively inexpensive. It had no problem recognizing my 8TB external HD with my movies and music collection (only half full) and it streams them without problems. My TV will not recognize the HD being directly connected as the storage capacity is too large, a common problem with TV's, hence the mini PC as a work around. Again, so far very happy with the purchase. I also picked up a iClever foldable bluetooth keyboard so when I change the input on the TV to the Kamrui, I can navigate around just fine. I went with this one as it had a mouse pad, there are several others available to choose from but this was one of the few with a mouse pad that was foldable (tested it with my cell phone and it worked with no problems, can also use it with a tablet). At first the Kamrui kept losing connection, I think it was becaue I had the PC placed behind the TV and also my bluetooth soundbar may have been interfering with the signal. As soon as I moved the Kamrui to the front of the TV, no more issues with the keyboard, so be aware of possible bluetooth issues depending on where you place the pc be it keyboard or headphones.
