Illumanatomy: See inside the human body with your magic viewing lens (Illumi: See 3 Images in 1)

It’s just so gorgeous. The colors are vibrant, and I really wish I had something like this through nursing school. But my daughter who is set on becoming a doctor loves how she can see all the different layers- skin, muscles and tendons, organs, circulatory system. And did I mention that it’s beautiful. Because it really is!!

We were introduced to these books at our local library. My 6 year old daughter loves them so I decided to buy this one for her birthday. If you’re unsure how this book functions, then there is a little removable rectangular view finder in the front of the book that has 3 different colors of viewers. When you hold it a little ways back from the page you get to see different images based on the different colored view finders. We initially were putting our faces right up to the view finder, much like 3-D glasses but it works much better if your face is a little ways away. You can see a lot more with better clarity. They are a bit expensive, hence why I’m only buying one right now. But I can tell you that the library version we initially found was well loved and still in fairly good condition. My daughter is very responsible with her books so I see this lasting a very long time.

3 color-feature-glass is so unique and fun since each color reveals different parts on the book. This book might be little too advanced for 3 year old but he likes to play with it! As an adult, I found myself reading it and playing with it for hours! great investment!

This book is breathtaking. The blue disc can be hard to see with, you just need a well lit room. My kids spend 20-30 minutes with this book every time I get it out, and I always learn something new when reading along with them.

Love the book! But I bought a used copy, and the viewing lens was missing. I'll be returning it to order one with the lens for only a couple dollars more.

I bought this for my niece and she is obsessed with it. Such a cool book and concept for learning.

I got this for my niece who is very interested in anatomy. It was quickly a huge hit and the fetus picture is especially captivating. It ended up being quite the wow factor for the whole family. Presents a totally different way to interact with a book. We've since also go the Nature one, Dinosaurs and soon we'll get the Atlas.

This is an amazing book for ages 5 to 10yr olds, where they are able to understand the precise anatomy of the human body through the 3 colored lenses (the blue lens though needs an extremely well lit room to display the organs and blood vessels) the information provided is not overwhelming at the same time just the right amount for elementary kids to label and understand the functions of various systems and parts. A must buy for every home library, it's really a great investment!
