We own quite a few of these Sakel Animal Toys but these Golden Retriever Dog and Parrot are my daughters favourite! They are well made, they have a good weight to them and the paint job is extremely well done. They also look very realistic and are sized to scale. My daughter has played with them for hours upon hours and they have even joined her outside and for a few bubble baths. I love that they are simple toys with no electronic parts or other “bells and whistles” because they help to encourage creativity. Like all Sakel toys, these pups are certified free from BPA, phthalates and lead so they are safe for little ones to play with. There is an age recommendation of 3+ since the little puppies are quite small and could be considered a choking hazard.
