So Kal is my new dark obsession! He is so intense and dirty but also caring. He doesn't want to cause harm, just leave his mark. I just hope his little spring goddess is ready for the promise she just made with her own personal grim reaper.

I absolutely loved this book, it’s short and gives a great idea of what the characters are like for the next one. I am excited to see where this story goes!

This was a short quick read that I found corny at times. Kal Anderson is a stone-cold fixer, both in the literal and figurative sense. Nicknamed Doctor Death, he prefers to keep his messes confined to his workspace and out of his personal life. Still, when it comes to the notorious Ricci crime family, he can’t seem to catch a break. This was my first time reding this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I love Sav Miller and all of her books! It’s mythological retellings and are amazing. If you like mythological romance! This series is for you!

Freaking loved it and ready to read the next one… staring them today and already have some of the paperbacks

Wow I wasn't expecting that!! Not only was it spicy but the story line is pretty good. I will definitely be reading the next book.

I've been wanting to read this series for a while, and when I discovered there was a prequel, I thought I'd start there. I really enjoyed it, although it took me a bit longer to get through without the audio version - I kept getting distracted! I absolutely adore forbidden romances and age gaps, and it's even more exciting when she's involved in a crime family. Can't wait to read more like this! 😊

Literally half of the 68 pages is Kal having sex with Elena for the first time. I can't complain, but I wish it had more of her feelings involved.

As a self proclaimed Sav super fan, I wish I had read this before reading P&P. I didn’t even know it existed to be honest, but it is a huge regret that I didn’t start with Sweet Sin.I love the glimpse we get into Elena at this point in her life. How she acts and feels and portrays herself before becoming “Mrs Dr Death”Not that she necessarily changes all that much, but she feels like a different character her all together to me. She’s bada$$ and feisty and I want to be her even more.Kal is another story. Everyone knows he is the blueprint for morally grey book boyfriends. But getting to see him in his element like this, even for a short period, fueled an obsessive fire inside me.Don’t get me wrong- this is pure smut. There is no plot or side story at all, but that’s okay because it’s just leading up to the plot for P&P and answers any questions I had when I read P&P for the first time.

I know that this one is about the backround story from promises and pomegranates, but it was just too short for my liking. The writing style is lovely though!

This is my introduction to Sav R Miller and wow I'm a huge fan.Sweet Sin is the prequel novella to the Promises and Pomegranates novel which is book 1 in the Monsters & Muses series. This one is loosely based on the Hades and Persephone myth but not a retelling and I loved it.I loved the characters and storyline as we see a 24 hour timeframe where the characters are together and so much can happen in so little time and is the perfect introduction. The characters are Kallum Anderson - a 32 year old doctor and mafia enforcer for the Ricci famiglia and is obsessed with the one person offlimits to him - his bosses pure 20 year old daughter who has been betrothed to another since birth - Elena Ricci - the mafia princess.Elena Ricci is the 20 year old pure mafia princess and is engaged to Mateo De Luca who is aggressive and abusive but we see from Elena's POV that she does imply she gives as good as she gets and we're all for an FMC who knows how to hold her own. Despite being pure and untouched and promised to another, Elena is infatuated with none other than Kal Anderson and so she taunts him until he breaks his resolve on her 20th birthday and they finally give in to their tension and chemistry.The novella is short, around 70 pages but the raw lust that powered Kal and Elena through those pages was written exquisitely and their push and pull with each other, their pleasure and pain for each other and their wanting of what they can never have is just so compelling that I recommend you have the next one ready to go as soon as you have read this as it ends on a cliffhanger.This is a dark mafia romance book and features a few dark themes and trigger/content warnings so I would always recommend to check these first on the authors website before reading.

I read Oaths and Omissions first and couldn't get Sav out of my mind. Her book just left an emptiness after. I want to read every book in the Monsters and Muses series and started of with this short novella.Again, I have no comment on how Sav writes. She just sucks me in and spits me out at the end of a book. It was such an easy read. I haven't read Promises and Pomegranates but I feel like this is a really good build-up. I was constantly thinking and wondering where it would go and I am so excited to continue the story of Elena and Kal.

Urgh this book makes me want to reread the entire monsters and muses series again. Kallum and Elena are something else and this tiny prequel of their love story gives me goosebumps. It's spicy and dark and everything perfect for our Hades and his Persephone.
