Effortlessly classy
I'm pretty sure Gail Simone is only the third writer for a solo Jessica Jones book. Following Bendis and Kelly Thompson is a tall order. But Simone is a classy writer so this was a good bet. Like Thompson before her, she adds something new of herself to Bendis's creation.Jess receives a warning and then the variants arrive. I don't want to spoil the story, so that'll do as a summary. It's well paced. Character driven and simply great. Some lovely guest cameos, that are effortlessly incorporated. If you were after chasing, brawling, testosterone and action every other page I suggest you move along. There is action here, there are fights, even a little testosterone, but those things are not propping this book up. The mix is spot on, because Simone is very good at what she does.Noto's art, like Simone's writing, is simply classy. They complement each other beautifully. Having a bunch of Jess's could have been a nightmare to follow, but you're in safe hands. The character design for all the variants is so good. The Variants was a joy to read, start to finish.

A Jessica Jones Story With a Lot to Love
Gail Simone and Phil Noto offer up a compelling Jessica Jones comic book. Simone's writing is superb. She showcases Jessica's strengths and weaknesses through the use of the variant concept. Plus she adds pitch-perfect guest appearances by Jennifer Walters, Tigra, Luke Cage and Daredevil.Of course, as you would expect, Phil Noto's art is magnificent.

BRILLIANT
I knew Gail would give us a quality story but this was next level deep. We got to see all these what ifs and worlds where Jessica took many difference paths all to learn that Jessica Prime is the perfect version of herself. Absolutely love this story and highly recommend it to everyone.

Great sophisticated storytelling
I just love Gail Simone's writing, and this is one more example of her fabulous talent especially with female lead characters. I never cared too much about Jessica Jones, but she is so perfectly fleshed out here, and the twist with a lot of variants of herself makes the whole thing still more entertaining. The art of Phil Noto is stellar. Recommendation!

Great story
Love the story, loved to we got to check in on Jessica and see how she’s been, it’s a little hard to tell when in her timeline this takes place because of all the multiverse craziness, I loved that we got to see her from throughout the multiverse and how little details can change the trajectory of one’s life it’s a great read!!

Bought it for the cover + art and got a water damaged copy
Sucks I really wanted this as a cover art and the package came (not rainy day) and it was water damaged inside already and seems like it was just a used person’s book or something. It sucks cause damage is bent cover, pages and shape was almost too curved for a Trade style book. Pretty sad to receive this. All damage was viewed upon opening the package, just really sucks to wait and receive this.
