Thank you! I was able to squeeze this into a small form factor computer and add a full size rtx6600xt. Works great!

Used this inside a Lenovo Tiny to add external GPU for emulation. Needed the horizontal adapter to clear Sata port for OS. Used a full size PCIe riser instead of the supplied X4 adapter.

Mini PCs obviously do not have the room for massive GPUs meant for desktops. Using this in tandem with a PCIe x16 external slot makes this a perfect solution to give Mini PCs the means to use desktop sized GPUs. Again, you will need a PCie x16 external slot that is NOT included in this, but the M.2 piece still makes this worthwhile.

It's listed as having "PCI-E 3.0 X4 bandwidth" but it's really a 1x.

I have quite a few mini PC's and I've been wanting to utilize a raid controller to turn one of them into a NAS. The most difficult thing is that most of them do not have any slots to be able to add in a RAID controller. Now, this isn't to say that there are not cons to this approach because there certainly are especially in that it's using a cable to connect them together. This means that you're limited to 1gbps of traffic over the cable but for my general use case this was exactly what I needed. I never need to transfer faster than that for most read operations but loading in TBs of storage does take quite a bit of time and the speed is not capable of playing a 4K movie (which you'd need slightly over than 10GBps of transfer).

Zero issues for 1394b PCIe 1X card and the 2ft cable was nice to place the adapter a bit away from the clutter in the case.

Doesnt work

このアダプタにpci-e toPCIのアダプタを重ねて運用していますが特に問題は生起していません。

他社のと異なり補助電源（１２V）を行えますので、殆どのPCIEXPRESS×１、４に対応できます。 その分若干高めですが、１２V供給できないものだと苦労すると思いますが、これならSATA電源コネクタに対応してますので、余裕でクリアできます。

PT3を繋いだら失敗。 M2の3.3VをDCDCコンバータで12Vに昇圧して用いていて、3.3Vはつながっておらず、 sataの3.3Vラインもパターンがつながっていない模様。。。 しょうがないので、電源から出てる3.3vを直接PCi-EのB8とB10へはんだ付け。 (A9,A10,B8,B10は基板上導通してる）でOK。お試しあれ！！

M.2 Mキーから延長した場所にpcie機器を設置しようとしましたが接続したい機器では失敗しました。 原因としてまずM.2をPCIEに変換する機材にはライザーカードとUSB延長型があります。ライザーカードの場合はm.2に通っている配線を直接延長するため3.3V,PCIEx4(m.2に来ている本数によります),12Vが利用可能になります。しかしUSB延長型の場合はUSB経由時にPCIEx1,12Vのみを伝送するため延長先で使える機能が制約されます。よって接続したい機器に合わせて延長する方法を選択する必要があります。
