Q: What is the weight capacity for this chair?

It’s around 165lbs according to the instructions included - that’s around the same weight as me. I noticed sitting in it that I as nearly touching the ground and so I bought some heavy duty white Velcro straps and added 2 of them across the bottom seat and it made the world of difference (especially to getting out of the chair. It’s really cool & we love it! No regrets whatsoever on the value - it’s a statement piece.

Yes, the v2 has been upgraded with stronger, more resilient materials, making it more suitable for outdoor use.

Q: Why doesn’t this thing rock very well?

Not really. It is Very comfortable to siy and relax in. Worth the price..
