SoftalkCord Manager Retractable Phone Cord Detangler Cable for Landlines and Office Telephones, Black, 8 ft

I bought one a month ago for work since our work stations are small (medical office so it gets used a lot). My coworker had to use my desk while I was gone and fell in love with this little thing. Yes it can tangle as other photos show BUT if you pay attention to how you pick up and hang up the handset, you can keep it from tangling that way. I’ve gone a month now without any issues in sound/connection or it having issues reeling in.My third one just arrived today for our new hire, love love love it!!

This is the by far the biggest piece of garbage I have EVER spent money on. $13.65 cents. The cords twist immediately. There is no way to keep it untwisted. It's so light and cheaply made, that one sudden move and your phone is going to come flying at you from your desk. There is no hotter hell than the Sofatalk Cord Manager Retractable Phone Cord Detangler. One star only because I could hang myself with it.

Scheduled this item for return as it did not meet it's advertisement. However, on second review, I noticed that it was just the instructions on the package that caused the item to malfunction. It instructs one to stick the Softalk to the phone base with enclosed Velcro (which was not enclosed). But, actually, in order for the item to work, you need to leave it hang free so that when you pick up the receiver, it will pull from both ends. It works great now! Perhaps the marketer should rethink the packaging instructions.

While this product is a fantastic idea, and would probably be great for a household landline that doesn't get used often, it is not ideal for use on a high volume office phone. I wend through 2 of them in about a month. The thin cord that retracts tends to get easily twisted causing the thin wires internally to break. Once they break, the connection is extremely poor. I do have to say that the customer service for this product is great.

I bought this for my work desk phone. Too bad it came in black (my work phone is almond color). Other than that, this is perfect. My handset cord used to tangle something fierce to the point when the phone rang at work, my phone would slide on the stand and or even fall off the desk when I answered it because of the twisted mess that was the cord. No more. The cord does seem a bit flimsy when pulled out but it does retract nicely. It also extracts from both ends when in use...not sure that'd matter to most folks but there's the tidbit just the same. I'll update later if the cord goes bad.

The phone cord does not actually keep the cord from tangling. The cord for the most part coils in the contraption, but the ends attached to the phone & base do still twist. Due to the twisting, the wires actually are now starting to separate, which makes for fuzzy phone calls, that is, when the person on the other end can actually hear you.Not worth the money at all!

This thing was a waste of money

Llegó muy bien, en tiempo y el producto es lo que esperaba.

Lo ordenamos para que se viera mas limpia el area de trabajo, pero solo dificulto el uso del telefono, NO lo recomiendo.

Me funcionó de maravilla, no pesa y compacto.. lo recomiendo
