Installed easily and started with no issues

Starter lasted 5 weeks and failed. Had to contact Amazon to be directed to DBelectrical for return info. Sent 2 emails and tried calling 2 times. Time I got hung up on. Second call rang and rang for 10 minuted before I gave in and left a voicemail. No responses to either of the first emails. I did get a voicemail from Brad the next day. He gave me a choice of sending my info via email to him or leaving him a voicemail . Since their voicemail says the prefered method was e mail I sent an email. I repeated the same info from mynfirst 2 emails. I waited another day before writing this...I am waiting his response. Unfortunately, like most people I have to get my truck on the road. I will be purchasing one locally as I need this for work. It is unrealistic to expect someone to wait this long for an answer. I will not purchase from DB electric again.Next time i will have it rebuilt locally in 1 day.

Started on the first try, ... seems new. If it goes out quickly I will probably update. AllMy local parts stores were asking over double the price, some even triple the price, Mind boggling. Hope it lasts.

This DOES NOT! fit my 2000 Mazda B4000 4x4. It looks like it would but if you actually mount it, it grinds against the fly wheel and does not disengage. Notice how deeply it ground the flange lip and teeth. After it did successfully start the truck, it ran for a few minutes making a horrible sound resulting in the damage you see.
