Really pleased! Long, fine hair. Used tip from previous reviewer with great results.
Really pleased. I have long, fine, straight-ish, blond hair and this worked really well without weighing my hair down or darkening my hair.I used the suggestion another reviewer gave of cutting off a small amount and adding it to a small bottle with warm water. That worked out really well! (Thank you for the suggestion!).While I actually was using the conditioner I didn't think it was going to work well. I couldn't feel it in my hair at all, but I decided to just go ahead with it since I didn't have the rest of the bar with me. My hair tangles really easily when wet so I comb a widetooth comb through my hair when I have conditioner in (works better than any detangling product or rinse I've tried, including ACV rinses). I was surprised that I was able to comb through it easily this time too.As I went on with my day I promptly forgot about the conditioner bar, but I kept noticing that my hair was particularly easy that day. It was also particularly soft and shiny, and I didn't have any frizz.I'm glad I used the bottle suggestion from the other reviewer. If I hadn't, I would have continued adding more of the conditioner to my hair until I could actually feel it, and that would have been too much. It also makes the whole process so much easier.I was testing this out since I want to just take a carry-on with me for a 2 month trip to a remote area. I needed something that wasn't a liquid and this is absolutely perfect.I'm really glad I tried it.

Incredible!
My first time using a conditioner bar & this is so impressive. I have a medium length bob cut, straight, fine & dyed hair. It does get frizzy in summer, so I had low expectations for Honey Silk. I was proven wrong. This bar conditioner is incredibly easy to use. You rub it on your hands during a shower & and run your hands over your hair, but you think, ‘this isn’t working’. Then within a minute, you feel your hair smooth out. Rinse really well & your comb out is easy, smooth, no snarls or tangles. I love it. I ordered their shampoo bar. If both work well, all the $$ I spent on high end products was a total waste. This conditioner is aces!

OMG, OMG, OMG....THIS THING IS FANTASTIC.
Living in NJ is no joke, the cold, the heat, the wind, the mess, my hair in the winter has so much static that I look like I am being plugged in a socket every single day. Folks, let me tell you this, this thing is the best thing ever. Throw away your expensive conditioners. This conditioner last for ever, all you do is shampoo with your regular shampoo then depending on where you live "god bless the folks in the south for having great hair all year long" in any case, roll the thingie in your hands like if you are going to soap yourself but instead run your hands in your hair, in the winter leave it on for a couple of minutes and summer just rise right away. The conditioner will start to work instantly...then get ready, dry your hair, hair dryer or al natural, "Ha" not in NJ" which ever method you use, your hair will feel soft, shiny, huge body and soooo ver soft and healthy. I love this thing.I personally leave the conditioner in the container that came in and put it in a dry place, I am not sure what the set up is for everyone, but I find this works the best in my bathroom.Love it, thank you very much. Don't ever stop making this thing, I will come over and spank you people..:-)

I liked the solid bar form
This worked very well for me. I liked the solid bar form. A lot of the ingredients are natural. It was fun to use and had a great honey smell and beeswax feel. However I bought it because I was taken in by the hype. The main ingredient is Behenalkonium Chloride, which is a quaternary ammonium salt (quat). It is a chemical, synonym BENZYLDOCOSYLDIMETHYL-CHLORIDE. Quarternary ammonium salts are a common chemical used in many hair conditioners. Dove Hair Therapy Daily Moisture conditioner also uses Behenalkonium Chloride. According to the Skin Deep website it is not considered to be toxic to humans but potentially toxic to the environment, although related quaternary ammonium compounds are toxic to humans (see Wikipedia). The company claims this product is 100% natural. Does this mean that the BDC is extracted from plants, or that it is made by chemical processing of plant materials? It's still a chemical made in a factory even if is chemically processed from botanical sources. Some jet fuel is made from plant materials like corn or coconut oil, and by that logic it could be said to be 100% natural. The justification for saying that Behenalkonium Chloride is a natural, non-chemical botanical may be that it is found in small amounts in plants. The same thing is true of trans-fats which are found in small amounts in natural animal products, yet the trans-fats in our foods are chemically produced and a serious health risk. The presence of a substance in small amounts in natural plants and animals does not mean that the substance is safe, especially when it is chemically produced and in much higher levels. Another example of a substance found naturally in small amounts in food that can be artificially produced in large, unsafe amounts is arsenic.Whole Foods Premium Body Care Standard does not allow Behenalkonium Chloride in products, although it does allow some gentler quats like guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride (WFM-Premium-Unacceptable-List-Dec5-2013_0.pdf).It is difficult to make a good hair conditioner without using a chemical quat because of their unique cationic properties. This quat is not the most unsafe, but it is also apparently not the gentlest.Although not the most gentle quat, it seems relatively harmless compared to its relative, benzalkonium chloride, which is often used in conditioners as well. However it seems to me to be somewhat deceptive to advertise the product as "100% natural" if it contains an ingredient that is chemically produced, even if present in very small amounts in some plants, artificially produced and not something humans have been using for thousands of years like olive oil or beeswax.I was fooled. The product description emphasizes beeswax and honey ("crafted from the precious beeswax and honey") and "100% natural", and it has the feel and smell of beeswax and honey. But those are minor ingredients, number 7 in the list. The main two ingredients are the same sort of artificially produced chemicals found in most hair conditioners. I give it four stars because I enjoyed using it and it worked very well, it uses a safer chemical quat than many other conditioners, and doesn't have an artificial preservative. However I only bought it be because I was fooled by the hype and did not yet know about the chemicals used in conditioners. I won't be buying it again because I am looking for a truly 100% botanical conditioner that at least meets Whole Foods' premium body care standard, but for most people it is a far safer product than most other commercial products.Burt's Bees makes a truly 100% natural conditioner.

Mala calidad
Mala calidad. Demasiado caro para los resultados. Fuerte olor a regaliz negro. De color negro que pigmenta el agua. No lo volveré a comprar

Literally, does what it says on the tin!
I am literally surprised at how brilliant this is! I have curly, blonde unruly hair that needs lots of products to keep it under control.... well, you just have to try it! It is literally like a small bar of soap in a tin... you have to get a good lather going. My hair looks soft, tamed and smells gorgeous after using and my nearest and dearest have commented on how good it looks. It’s expensive but I guess it will last a long time.

Great Bar.
Great Bar.. I'm a bloke with hair about 3 inches long on top, short back and sides type deal. This conditioner leaves a really good feel to my hair.. Not sure what else to say. it's good stuff. Comes in a metal tin, would be awesome for anyone travelling.. I like it as it's more concentrated and will last a lot longer than a bottle of shampoo, there's also no waste, so it's good for the environment. ZERO PLASTIC!

FINALLY FOUND THE ONE
I've been reducing my plastic usage for some time now and use bar shampoo but could not find a conditioning bar that worked. I tried the lush ones but did not work for me. I have long hair that I wash 3-4 times a week and straighten so the end get a bit dry. It coats the hair sufficiently to finger comb in the shower. Definitely recommend. A bit pricey and I'll be interested to see how long it lasts?
