Absolute beast of a knife!
Made out of basically a super D2 steel. Holds edge well and the ergos are amazing!

Sick Knife, Bad Sheath
I never thought I’d see the day that I would return a knife. The knife itself is everything I imagined. Huge awesome blade. Super comfy handle. Geometry that can handle any task. The sheath was horrendous and the main reason I returned it. I don’t care about attachment points when I can’t get the knife safely in and out of the sheath. It would get bound up constantly making for a jerky and uncontrolled draw. This knife is 22 oz mind you, that’s 2x what a standard Ka Bar USMC fighter weighs so it’s not a knife that you want to feel out of control with. Packaging with this knife was also a joke. It literally comes in it’s sheath just tossed in a box with a card that says the crap sheath isn’t a warranty claim. It’s quite a shame to design such a cool looking knife and fumble the rest. The bad sheath is an opinion but the afterthought packaging is a bit insulting on a knife that goes for over $200. The M7 deserves better!

Get this knife
Four stars. Because of two things. The pommel is sharp and painful to the butt of my hand, should be rounded like the rest but it's close to 90deg. The sheath needs a lot of work. The blade shaves off kydex nearly every time I put the blade back in. The thumb press grooves are very painful to use. And the retention strap is barely long enough to get snapped. Going to make a leather one myself. Come on LS make better sheaths, this is the second substandard one I've bought.

A good bushcraft knife
The knife is good looking and with high quality in making and very sharp and comfortable in holding. The only thing I do not likeis the sheath. The sheath is not well designed and looks ugly.
