Many are missing the point
The fact that this thing need power to operate is not its weak point, rather combining it with a Smart Plug, some some Windows batch scripting, you can schedule an external hard drive to get powered up, do some backup and get disconnected by cutting its power. This would make your back up hacker proof. There are many other similar applications for it as well. The switched are mechanical which means if our is pushed down, will still remain so no matter how many times the smart plug connects and disconnect power to this unit.

Doesn't work without external power sypply.
This product has good build quality. But take into account that it will NOT WORK without connecting power supply. Many other USB hubs with a port for an extra power supply usually work without it but limiting power on ports.

تقدر توصله بالكمبيوتر وتشتغل بيه لكن بيحتاج تكون موصله بالكهرباء اثناء تشغيله الي جابنب لو حبيت تستخده لوحده عشان تشحن بيه بيكون بطئ جدا مهما كان البورتال الي هتستخدم
