Great for brooding chicks
We bought these to go in a chick brooder since the size was more appropriate and worked perfectly. Built well and will last a while. I recommend if needing for smaller spaces or smaller birds.

Good for baby chicks, not so great after a month old
Worked great for the baby chicks. I'm still using them for now with six week old chicks but they make a mess of the water and the food. They jump on top and knock the lid off the feeder and tip the water enough to leak it out but it's time for bigger feeders for them.

Small and not very sturdy. That said
Small and not very sturdy. That said, I wanted it for a brood box with just 5 baby chicks. Was perfect for their size. Still used it up to ten weeks but that was pushing the end limits. Still in good shape and will save them for the next time.

Quality = Price
Light weight and kinda flimsy, I wouldn't use them for full size chickens but in the brooder they seem to work just fine for day old to 4 week old chicks. I wish the waterer was bigger tho'. You get what you pay for and this is acceptable for the cost.

Great little starter set
Great little starter set for brand new baby chicks. The waterer does leak if not placed on a level surface, had to upgrade after first month because as birds grow and begin scratching, can easily bury if not elevated.

Doesn't work right
The water is a pain to get together when water is in it, food one does not drop down so they can't get feed

Perfect for our needs.
Works fine for our single hen. We didn't have any chickens because we were afraid the coyotes would kill them. However, 3 coyotes were 20' from our front door and one of them had Chicklet in it's mouth. Fortunately, my husband was out there, through something at them, they dropped her and she survived in spite of her injuries. I was happy to find these small containers for our little girl.

Waters don't line up to lock very easy! Feeders fall apart & feed goes on the ground!
Don't like them. Too flimsy!
