Great tool for job it was designed for. Metal is tool grade. Performed 24 valve guide removals and then installs. Tool looks as good as the day I took it out of the package.

Worked very well on my Kawasaki 400 head to remove a bad valve guide. I thought the tools were made of good quality steel unlike some who said the steel was week. I used a 3 pound mallet and the punch is still straight.

I’m a Kubota technician. I used them to knock out the valve guides out of Kubota heads and they worked perfectly

If you only need to drive 4 valves guids out, this tool will work, but if you need it for anything more, like installing new guides, you might as well forget it. The hammer end will mushroom, the valve guide end will bend, and then shear off. If you are lucky you will be removing them from your exhaust side and it will be able to be fixed by the port job you are doing. If not, you are probably going to be buying new heads.

The 5mm one worked perfectly to remove and install all 6 exhaust valve guides on my 451 Smart Fortwo.

Quality seems hit or miss.. the 5mm was unusable right out of the box..

Ended up bending and squishing. Too soft steel. I can’t complete my guides. Have to buy air chisel attachment
