Perfect for my sons ear infections!
My son gets constant ear infections and it's so nice having a tool at home to check his ears so I know wether we need to take a trip to the doctor or not. Not to mention as a 4 year old he loved being able to look in mommys ears to see what an otoscope was all about. The otoscope is lightweight yet durable. It was one of the cheaper otoscopes online so I was wondering how it would stack up.The otoscope shaft is around the size of an ink pen- light is bright- there is a magnifying glass to look in the ear. Cheap case (hard to open) but it works. Come with the batteries needed to operate (2- AAA batteries). Ots not heavy duty like the one at the dr office but over all, I think it's pretty awesome, for the price!

Good for home use
The speculas don't fit in it right. Iam a home care RN and needed one I could use for different people. It has disposable speculas but they fit on it oddly. Can't use the one that comes on it for different people cause that's just gross. Good for one person or a parent for their child. I assumed with extra speculas included it was set up to use them for more than one time use and change out. I gave 3 stars because of that .

Affordable Otoscope
For the price it works. I only use it a couple of times a year. I take the batteries out when finished. The unit itself is not sturdy but everything works. If you want something that you are going to use often I would opt for a higher price unit. I'm able to see in both of my dogs ears when checking for ticks, infection or ???? Hope this helps

Do NOt waste your money
For $10, you get what you pay for! It is plastic, the light is not bright and you can do a better job by holding a phone flash light and camera up to your ear. Not for use in clinical settings and MAYBE ok for use at home if you’re in a crunch and can’t get to the doctor’s

Works like a charm!
I have 3 kids who for like me to clean their ears. This allows me to see how much is in their ears before I start scooping the gung out. I like that it magnifies since I'm becoming more far sighted in my old age.

Sturdy and functional
I just barely got this but I already love it. I'm a home health nurse (and a mom) and after several incidences where an otoscope would have helped a lot I final got one.I chose this one as it had good reviews and a case. The case is very sturdy and has a good strong clasp. It has a spot for the covers and for extra batteries (it comes with batteries too). The pen itself is metal and very sturdy in appearance, it feels like an item that is going to last (unlike the horrible cheap plastic penlights). The otoscope end slides on and off easily, but is snug enough to not worry about it going places when you don't want it to. Magnification seems good. It certainly isn't going to diagnose anything wild, but it'll let me see if there is wax or foreign objects or red eardrums.I'll update if it winds up having issues.

Save your money for something better
This Otoscope is not anything like I was expecting it to be. Yes it a inexpensive one but I expected more from it. Yes you can view, lets use the ear as an example, what you are trying to see but it is like trying to look at something through a coffee stirring straw. You have to move the insert around way too much causing a lot of discomfort to the person you are checking just to get the big picture. I guess for the home mom this would be ok to do a check up but it would in no way help to determine an underlying issue someone is having with their ears.In addition the different size cones that come with it do not stay on the tip of the Otoscope and they just sit on there. If you tilt the Otoscope at any angle downward it will just fall off. You can't force it to stay on either. The tip that comes already attached is removable so it seems they should have made the extra cones to replace this installed cone but they were not designed this way. I will likely just throw away the extra cones as they really serve no useful purpose.

Bueno para el bajo precio
No permite evaluar a nivel médico la membrana timpanica. Pero sirve para saber si hay cera o no en los oídos y ver alguna perforación grande.
