Richard Scarry's 100 First Words

Having loved Richard Scarry books as a child in the 70's, I was thrilled when he regained popularity in the 90's when we were raising our children. Now I get to share this beloved classic with my granddaughter. She LOVES her Richard Scarry books and this one is wonderful. Every page has so many beautifully illustrated details so there are always new things to look at and discover. She is 18 months old and the Richard Scarry books have been instrumental in helping her vocabulary, now over 200 words. Highly recommend that you add this awesome book to your baby's library and read, read, read to your baby every chance you get!

Bought this book off recommendation from doctor. Has been cute to look through with toddler to try and teach words.

My 2yo loves this book! Scarry classics ftw. Great quality board book, large pages with great pictures.

We had the paperback form of this book first. The paperback form tore so easily and did not last due to how much our daughter loved it. We ordered this board book version and it has lasted us way longer than the paperback. It also has tons of every day words within the book. Our daughter loves the pictures and asking what the word is. Her vocabulary has definitely improved significantly from reading this book over and over again.

This book is a must-have in the car and at restaurants. Our son loves the vibrant illustrations and enjoys pointing out all the items that he recognizes or knows the words to describe them!

My grandson loves the grocery shopping page the best. Can't go wrong with Richard Scarry
