Instructions: 1.Find the holes on side of laser end, stick tool in there to center. 2.Slide it in, mark where the laser hits the paper. 3.Rotation: ※ Do FIRST HALF rotation. Then mark that spot. Then adjust the laser and bring it from spot 2 on the paper to halfway between the two spots. Then mark where it is now. ※ Do SECOND HALF rotation. If it falls on the third spot in the middle, you're done. If it's a little off, adjust half the distance to the spot, should be minimal adjustment at this point. Then rotate one half turn twice to make sure it falls back on that spot. 4.YES! WHEN YOU ROTATE IT WILL GO AWAY FROM THE SPOT, THEN IT LANDS BACK ON IT. WHERE IT LANDS AFTER HALF ROTATION IS WHAT MATTERS, NOTHING ELSE AT ANY POINT IN THE ROTATION. 5.Now that your bore site is centered to your barrel, get behind the weapon and adjust your windage and elevation to be centered on that dot. Make sure you're at the right distance for this process. If you do this correctly, you're done! You can go out and shoot, there should be no need to shoot to adjust. so it is really easy to see
At 100 yards, the laser dot is about 1 inch in diameter, so it is really easy to see. To get it centered does take some work, but anything worth-while is worth the effort. Get an extra battery, as it will use up your first one quick, getting it centered. But, once centered, you will save your money on rounds! 2 shot zero confirmation on two different rifles after using this tool. Love it. Exactly what I was looking for.

I'd never used tis type of bore sighter before, but watching a friend use one and within five minute, was able to place a grouping the size of a quarter at 200 yards got my attention, This is the only way to sight in a weapon now.

a CV2 will be your best bet. slightly lower amp hours but longer lasting ...
If you need to replace the battery in this unit, a CV2 will be your best bet. slightly lower amp hours but longer lasting than the cheap blue china batteries

CHEAP JUNK
Wouldn't waist your time purchasing this. Got mine, excited I unboxed it put the battery In shined it across the street shut it off. Used it for 5 minutes maybe and then it died. Who sends a dead battery with a new product? Then I put all the screws in the different bushings. Tried to find one that fits a 300 aac blackout couldn't get a good fit. One was to small an wobbly the next larger wouldn't fit at all without getting stuck and almost pulling the screw right out of the bushing when trying to remove it. JUNK go find a different one.

Great Only one issue
Works Great Only Issue is the batteries don't fit well. I had to make a spacer to get good contact so the laser didnt keep cutting out.Get the green lazer this thing is super bright even at like 300 yards.

Came with out battery, some advanced adjustment necessary, parts hard to use
Came with out a battery, rubber barrel mechanism needed a washer or something, it keeps coming apart inside the barrel and is difficult to remove. I had to put it in a gun that was already sighted in to true up the lazer. Once I got there the aggravating junk works good, very bright laser could see it 100 yards away in sun light, with a shaded target
