Love this company!
I bought this for my 3.5 year old daughter's very frizzy and wild curly hair. I have literally bought hundreds of dollars worth of products for curly hair and nothing I have tried has made her curls spring back to life for more than an hour or so, without the cottony frizz all over the place with it, especially around her face with her little baby hairs. So when I bought this, I honestly didn't get my hopes up, but I'm willing to try anything and since I stay away from things that have a lot of chemicals in them, I was running out of products to try, and this one sounded really nice. When using it, I was very pleased with the smell, my daughter said, "Mmm Mommy, that stinks so good!" lol so she was a fan as well, and when you wash it out, the smell is still lightly there for a couple days, as I only wash her hair 3 times a week since she's so fair and has such sensitive skin, I can't wash her everyday unless she gets dirty. I don't usually like gel because it makes her hair hard, but I have the gel from this company as well and was blown away at how soft this made her hair. I use it when her hair is still a little damp, or when it needs a little life, and it makes her hair so silky soft and shiny and her curls so springy. I've never used a gel on her hair that didn't make her hair crunchy and hard, or a shampoo and conditioner that made her hair the way it should be, without frizz, until I found Royal Locks. I am a definite fan and will be a customer for a very long time!

Love at first shampoo!
Love love love!!! The bottom of my cabinet is full of shampoos and conditioners that I had hoped would be the right answer for my hair. Among my searching I had seen Royal Locks, and hadn’t heard of it but just didn’t want another disappointing shampoo and conditioner. I finally tried it and absolutely could not be more pleased! I’m kicking myself for not having tried it sooner. I have wavy/curly hair that is half grey and the rest bleached and blended. Between the finer strands of white grey and the bleached, it is a real challenge to keep my hair moisturized much less shiny. Been using the shampoo and conditioner for a week now and I’ve seen a large transformation in my hair. Just from the first shampoo it was noticeable and it just keeps getting better. I’m going to put it on auto refill so I never have to buy from a store again. Oh, I also noticed that it didn’t take as much to get better results than with the shampoos and masques I was using before. Just so super happy and am looking forward to trying all of the other Royal Locks collection. Thanks for making a great product that does what it says and for keeping it affordable!

Royal Locks vs. Deva
UPDATE: used whole bottle of shampoo, was fairly happy and ordered second bottle. Received a watered down version that would not even lather. Nope, it can join the other products that live under my sink.I have 2B-2C wavy to curly hair, very sparse and fairly porous. Currently 2 weeks overdue for a Deva cut. Have been noticing the Deva Curl low-poo product giving me a lot of buildup quickly and a waxy feel which I can deal with but it's not optimal. So I got this set, which arrived sealed and perfect. Washed and conditioned, finger combed and air dried with just a squirt of Deva gel. My hair is not as waxy and my scalp feels cleaner. I had to use a lot more conditioner as compared to Deva, but still felt like it wasn't a ton of product, so good value. My hair feels more dry than with Deva, but still not frizzy. It's bouncier and curls are looser and less formed but still intact. Photo is day 2 and since I silk bonnet to sleep, I had to do literally nothing to it except fluff today.Considering washing once a week with this and once with Deva and see where that goes. Jury is out but so far, so good.

KEPT HAIR CLEAN AND CURLY THRU SUFFERING SHINGLES TO LEFT SIDE OF FACE
I am 71 years young, have naturally wavy hair that is thick and greying. I found this product and happily amazed how it made my hair curly the way it was when younger. Once I got accustomed to low suds and how fast it cleans, I do like how shiny and curly my hair looks, especially with a little of the Curl Cream Gel right after drying hair.I really praise shampoo's glory when trying to wash my hair for first time after initial attack of Shingles on left side and that includes the scalp to the neck. I never knew that hair could hurt! but all I had to do is gently apply the shampoo and rinse and let hair dry. Thank God for the curls which made hair neater, since I really couldn't comb that part of the scalp, and I looked good when had to get out to doctors appointments. Even just a little moisture brought back curls. One thing I would like to see, I would like to buy the shampoo as a separate produce. Just a thought. But thanks for this product line.

Conditioner is amazing but not the shampoo
I researched and reviewed tons of products for when I got my perm and this one is the one that said it was great for permed hair and the conditioner is amazing it really covers every strand and u don't have to use too much and u can feel your hair getting thicker while it's on so totally in love with the conditioner as far as the shampoo goes u would need a giant bottle! I had to use atleast 8 pumps to totally cover my hair and my hair length is about 1 inch past my shoulders now that it I permed and without the perm it is very thin and very fine so I found it very odd that I required so much shampoo just to fully saturate my hair it is not concentrated at all and I actually used it twice and stopped using the shampoo because it didn't do anything but I still use the conditioner!
