Hot Chocolate Design Chocolaticas Mid Heels Women's Mary Jane Pumps

I am a long-time buyer and huge fan of HCD, so when they came out with these shorter heel shoes, I was so happy. I am a true US 9.5 WIDE, and in HCD's I am a 9 in both their mary jane flat shoes AND the high heels. So I felt very confident ordering a 9 with this new style of shoes. However, I was horrified to discover that the interior of the shoe is this weird silver shiny plastic-feeling material that has zero give and does not allow your feet to breathe at all. So even if their measurements are similar to the other shoe styles, because they used such a terrible material for the interior, it feels ridiculously TIGHT. I just spend a hundred bucks on shoes that are too uncomfortable to ever wear, and this breaks my heart because the entire point of the shorter heels was TO BE MORE COMFORTABLE. It's such a stupid mistake to use this shiny material inside the shoe because no one is ever going to see it, and it completely renders an otherwise beautiful and comfortable shoe entirely unusable. (The outside of the shoe is the typical fabric they use for their mary janes, so it would've been so comfy if they hadn't used that weird silver plastic inside). Do yourself a favor and skip this, OR size up and be prepared to wear socks.

Purchased the Black Tudors. These are beautiful and well made, but be advised that they are a dark navy blue, not black. The rose accent is true black and white, but the shoe fabric itself is a dark navy blue velvet (or that's how it appears). I'll wear them with a dark wash jean so it's not a huge issue, but I won't be able to wear them against anything that is a true black. Still love them.

I was hoping I wouldn't like these shoes because they're so expensive, but darn if they're not worth every penny. The fuzzy strap was a bit much for me so I removed it (it slips on and off easily). They are a beautiful soft velvet, vibrant print, and they're comfortable! I love the low heel option, and they actually have a nice pad for decent arch support. Good quality as I expect from Hot Chocolate, and cute sole prints as a bonus! I had to save up a while to get this but they are so worth it.

Just got Miss Kitsch shoes. Still loving these mid size heels. Gorgeous and comfortable!I love the new mid size heels! I have several pairs of Hot Chocolate high heels. These are the most comfortable. Very cute shoes. I get many compliments at work and out when I wear them. Looking forward to seeing more patterns in the mid size heel .

I’ll give it 3 stars for the cute design. But honestly, the material seems cheap. I’m not convinced they’ll hold up for even a dozen wears. The Holes for the buckle were already stretched out when I got them, almost as if they’d already been worn. I like them enough that I won’t return them. But I won’t be buying another pair for the price. For over $90 I can get shoes that would most likely have better, longer lasting material.To be fair, with these shoes you’re paying for design, as the design is unique. I’m giving three stars mainly due to price and quality. I also appreciate that the size chart was spot on. I have slightly wide feet and these worked fine for me.

I bought these for my girlfriend for Christmas and she absolutely loved them so much that she wants to collect them all! She normally wears a size 7.5, so I got an 8 and they fit perfectly.

This was my very first purchase of Hot Chocolate Designs; I hesitated because they were heels not flats but when I described them to my friend, she said go for it! Wow! I’m in love with them & cant wait for Christmas to come again so I can show them off! One very magical thing about them is the beautiful & fun packaging - when I took them out of the box, it started playing a Christmas carol - so inventive!Since that first pair, I’m now the owner of several pairs with more coming in February & March; it took buying a variety of pairs & sizes to find the best fit; my apologies to Hot Chocolate Designs for those returns; I read in the questions on one of the styles that the seller says many customers become collectors - I’m already one!If you want whimsical, fun & unique, give them a try - you won’t be disappointed!

Pros: They’re more comfortable & easier to walk in than the high-heel Mary Jane Pumps. I love how they included a cushion inside the shoes for more comfortability, a detail that their high-heel shoes didn’t originally come with. I’m in love with the pastels & the adorable marine-theme. The design is absolutely beautiful in person & lovely quality of the fabric.Cons: The pearl trim is very tacky, not well sewn, is uneven, & had dry yellow glue on them. The pearls even had sharp edges that my mom had to file them to prevent cutting my skin or tearing my stockings. We even found a plastic thread sticking out inside the shoes that had to be carefully cut with scissors to prevent a foot injury. Overall, the pearl trim wasn’t necessary & tones down the elegant design of the shoes. For a pair of shoes that cost $104 they should had used a better quality trim of flat pearls instead or better yet no pearls at all.My final issue is that I wish they had half sizes for these shoes, the size 8 fits perfectly in front but there’s still extra room from behind.

Beautiful shoes that not only look good but are comfortable to wear. I’m shielding so am working from home, but couldn’t resist putting these on anyway. There’s always time for glamour!

Beautiful shoe but couldn't get the right size sent! Lovely shimmery pink shoe (picture does not do it justice) with fab check heel and padded inside for comfort. I wanted a HC 39 so ordered the uk7 but got sent a 40, so then ordered uk 6 but got sent 38. Not sure how to get the 39 from Amazon but have since got elsewhere!

Disappointed with the quality for the price. No issues with the seller, but I’m an irregular choice collector and I thought I would give this brand a try, they felt cheap in comparison for the same price point. However, they were cute, comfortable and true to size. I returned and received an immediate refund

My first pair of HCDs , and they won’t be my last! I love them… fit as I would expect and comfy too! So many beautiful designs!!PS excuse the boxes in the background, I’d just moved house!…. Shouldn’t have been buying shoes but couldn’t resist these!
