The metal clasp snapped in less than 3 months. The bag it was attached to is a laptop bag that is not stuffed. A laptop, a couple file folders and pens.

The strap itself seems durable and and looks good. However, the very first time I attempted to use the strap on my briefcase, the latch broke. I had a light laptop and a decent stack of papers (a couple of hundred sheets) in the case-nothing a strap meant for this purpose shouldn’t be able to handle.
