This bait catches trout.
I have caught many “planted” trout with these floating eggs. Don’t cover the point of the hook. Allow the point to stick out slightly. If you cover the point, the bait might slip out of the fishes mouth when you try to set the hook. My only beef is that the jars that hold the bait keep getting smaller and smaller. You know what I’m sayin’?

Powerbait wins again!
I always use PowerBait when freshwater fishing for trout and others. Decided to try these eggs and these were getting more bites than my powerbait putty when using the same color. Bonus: easier to put on, less mess on your fingers (the smell is much stronger too), and easier to take off when swapping colors.

Make sure you look at the size of the jars.
I'm sure the size is on the description but if I saw it, it didn't sink in. My fault. These are tiny jars and luckily, I didn't catch any fish using any of it. It's probably better for trout, but nothing else. These are like sample jars.

I stopped using the playdo version of powerbait in favor of these and quality is good
