Well written and easy to follow. This is the stuff I grew up on and had at my relatives' homes in the Netherlands. We add juniper berries and cardamom to the stewed meat dishes.A very nice cookbook. It's sad that Dutch cuisine is largely ignored.

I bought this as a gift for my mom. I based it on the 5 star reviews. Honestly, I didn't even look at the recipes, because it's printed poorly in black and white. Nice cover but inside is such low quality. I wouldn't gift this. Sadly, shipping took even longer over the holidays so this was even more anticipated because of the wait time. Will return.

The recipes which are Dutch appear to be authentic. However there are only 77 recipes and a dozen or so are Indonesian or from some other former Dutch colony, i.e. they aren't Dutch cousine. Only 3-stars due to too few recipes.
