Stripped bolt head? Not anymore
About 15 years ago a buddy left one of these at my house. As someone with 3 roller cabinets of tools I would have never bought one. Until one day I was working on a car with a stripped head. I grabbed this as a last ditch effort before getting the easy outs or a touch, and it took it right out. About 3 years ago I lost it somewhere and didn't think about it. When I seen this as a suggestion i bought it. The last one I had I used so many times when conventional sockets failed. It's legit

Just what I needed
Work on any nuts with any Nut.

Versatile - not just for nuts
This socket will not replace a socket set designed for specific size nuts. I wouldn't apply a lot of torque to a nut using this socket because I don't think that it will be strong enough. Where I have used it is to apply twist to a non-standard nut or post where conformability is more important than brute strength. I was able to buy this on sale for less than $10. For the price it is a handy addition to my set of specialty tools.

It's OK
It was easy to attach to my drill. Good quality and performance. Worth the money. My only issue is that it's so heavy and wobbly. Make sure you have a good drill

Stocking stuffer for men.
I don't really know? I wanted one myself. I figured this versatile socket tool would take the hassle out of trying to figure out which one fits best. Gave one to my husband, and the guys in my family for Christmas. They all seemed to appreciate it. I am hoping it will come in handy later on for them:)

Hubby loves this!
