I've got original v1, v2, two v5s, various clones of Big Muff pedals, and I made a v2 to Gimour Specs. This Sovtek Big Muff is absolutely fab and I can get any sound of any Big Muff I want. The pedal is crisp and clear, don't need a treble booster to hear the top E string, the mid control is voiced just right. Whoever designed this is a genius. When I was a kid I never understood why people liked the Big Muff, to me it was too muffley. I'm thinking of selling my Big Muff collection and sticking with this. It is a joy to play. Much better than the NYC Deluxe Big Muff that I just sent back. I am in love with this pedal. Almost every setting is usable. Worth every penny.

I have purchased this pedal twice now and within a month of purchasing both pedals they have broken. Don’t buy this

Excellent pedal. I chose this model to give me the most varaiations in tone and it doesn't dissappoint. To my limited knowledge the only thing it doesn't do is the very spitty, (sounds like the batteries are running out) kind of sound. For that I've bought a separate cheap fuzz to explore. (Cuvave Fuzz).The noise gate is very useful for heavier sounds and the blend is useful when you want a heavy sound but you want things to stay musical by mixing in the dry sound. The expression pedal input allows you to sweep the mids a bit like a wah, which is fun or you can set the controls and forget.Overrall, I'm very happy with this. The main trade off is the size of the thing.
