This is my Go-To For Newsprint-Style, Loose-leaf Note Paper
Remember the newsprint writing pads most of us Gen-Xers grew up with? I do. And yes, I do know the name of the company and sadly, those 48-sheet writing pads are hella spendy on this resale platform. So, I found myself a pack of 500 sheets of loose-leaf newsprint and I've been using it for a few years now. I prefer the way my ink pens write on the newsprint's surface and the natural tint of the paper makes it easy for me to see what I'm writing without the glare of the bright whiteness of standard notebook paper. I mean, it's paper; I use it for journaling and note-taking. It's also designed for handwriting practice and I like the red and blue lines - gives it something special that I personally enjoy. Enjoyable product!

YES!!!!
This paper is a little thin. HOWEVER, it allows my first grader to transition from the prek - kindergarten sideways writing paper to notbook paper while still having the colored and dotted lines. IT IS GREAT! She is still able to work on her printing skills and proper letter formation! i definately recommend!!!

Completely Met Our Expectations
We purchased this to help with homeschooling our kiddos during the school closing for COVID. This was perfect for practicing sight words (7 year old) and learning to write out letters correctly (5 year old). The paper was good quality and (mostly) durable through the wear and tear of the inevitable erasing.

As described
Vertical, letter sized. Solid blue top line, dotted middle line and red solid lower line. I think for grade 1 and up its work well, as most lines paper for pre-K and k may be a little bigger. Would be fine for kindergarteners with good pencil control.

Perfect for 1st grade as it's in the portrait layout. We used landscape layout for kinder writing.
As a home school mom, I needed 1st grade paper to help my kid write stories and work on neat penmanship and this primary paper is the way to guide him on how to write beautiful work as we call neat writing.

Same paper the school uses
Got this so my kiddo could write on the same paper with the same line spacing as they do at school. It is thin and my new writer often made holes on it which frustrated him but learned correctly t pressure to use.

Great tool for teaching handwriting skills
The solid and dotted lines are excellent for forming lowercase and uppercase letters. The red baseline is a good visual cue for students. Much more economical than store size packs.
