I liked the shape and the colour (we chose red). I liked that the basket was easily removable and easy to clean.I disliked that it dripped from the spout.Also, when you want to pour what is left in it, it came out from the top part as as well as it is not secured in place. I would have held the top in place but the top is made of metal and it gets hot as well.

I was lucky, I got mine for £20.89 Warehouse “used” deal, brand new so far as I could tell.It really does hold 1.4 Litres, despite what some very strange reviews are stating. Yes, I have measured the quantity.No drips, easy pour, no problems at all.Very easy to clean with my Sigg Cleaning Bush (https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Sigg-Designer-Cleaning-Brush-White/dp/B002I02HQU/ref=cts_sp_1_vtp) and a smaller brush for the spout.Handle remains cool if you pour the tea out fairly promptly but I prefer a whole pot to myself using a tea cosy, then it heats up but is still OK to hold in my opinion.In short, I am delighted with it.

This teapot was bought to replace a i / 2 cup pot that just wasn't big enough (I like a couple of mugs of tea in the morning!) This teapot more than fulfils the criteria. It holds 2 very large mugs, 3 / 4 normal mugs or 4 / 5 cups. The only problem I have with it is that the infuser catches slightly on the lid when trying to remove it from the pot. (1 star deducted for this slight design problem.) Tilting the infuser slightly as you remove it solves the problem otherwise the teapot would be perfect. The handle does get warm as others have noted in reviews, but not too hot to hold. If you are using this teapot for several mugs yourself 9as I am) then a decent tea cosy would be a good additional purchase.

Lovely big capacity tea pot, with a retro feel to its design. Deceptively capacious - easily does 3 plus big mugs. No leaf bits escape the filter, and makes a grand cuppa. I like that the silicon liner that holds the lid comes out, making it easier to clean, makes a really good seal - you might have to lift the lid to let some air in, and the tea, out!

I returned this teapot as the infuser felt very flimsy and I was worried that it would become bent out of shape. Also the depth of the infuser would make getting all the tea leaves out quite difficult. The teapot itself was fine.
