Easily solve thermal issues with AIRCOM
I am not an audiophile by any means, but I knew what I wanted when I purchased my amp & speakers. I’m running the Marantz PM6007 to 400W Klipsch Reference speakers, with Dolby Atmos height. I’m running the Dolby Atmos height speakers off the b channel of the amp, not for Dolby obviously but for crisp highs that compliment the sound for a warm all around the open concept portion of my home feel and sound… Problem I was having was that the speakers drive the amp hard at anything over very moderate db levels, pushing it to thermal protection after about 40 minutes or so. This was very disappointing to me and almost forced me to admit to my wife that I knew the speakers would sometimes push the Marantz amp too hard… Until I put the AIRCOM S7 on top of my amp and set it to auto. The fan speed automatically adjusts to heat coming off the amp and the top of the amp stays cool to the touch and has not gone into protection mode even once. Now I can enjoy the sound I was hoping for without regretting my setup choices… For a very powerful amp or AVR receiver in a cabinet I would recommend one of the better AIRCOM models that allow you to set a desired temp and run multiple fans that cool the unit and vent the cabinet.

The best cooling fans out there. Solves overheating problems.
These fans are a must for your vintage amp/ receiver. I use this one on a Sansui 9090 because of where the vents are on the cabinet. It is small enough to situate it directly over the vents but still has enough power to keep the unit cool to the touch even at high volume. Also purchased a 9 for another vintage Kenwood. They plug into the switched outlet on the rear of the units. Very nicely done all the way around!

Simple but effective AVR cooling
Purchased a new receiver and noticed it was very warm even when on standby which got me searching for cooling equipment. Ordered the C7 even though the low price had me concerned and after running the receiver for an hour, it was cool to the touch. This model fits perfectly over the top vents on the case. Very simple to set up. Can't hear it running from across the room. Oh yeah, it was delivered the next day. Didn't see options for other colors, only black. Also a USB powered fan might be a good option since many of today's receivers have multiple ports.

Quiet top vent fans
My Stereo AMP was getting very hot in the cabinet other AV components are when pushing the AMP hard with volume (read rock concert loud). Got this dual fan for top venting on AMP and set it on Smart mode so it comes on automatically and adjusts fan speed every 2 degrees. You can't here fan with any level of volume you listen to, and it runs very quiet if you chose to just have it run all the time

just what I needed
I needed something to cool off 3 power amps that I put in a cabinet. I noticed how hot the amps were getting and could smell the electronics heating up when I opened the cabinet door. Not good. I saw this fan on Amazon and it is exactly what I needed. I couldn't afford the larger T models but luckily AC Infinity makes the S7, very affordable and perfect for my needs. I placed the fan on top of the 3rd Amp in the cabinet and within a few minutes the heat had dissipated and the amps were cool as a cucumber. I set it to automatic and when the temp hits 88 degrees the fan kicks in and cools everything off. It is only an inch and a half tall and fits right on top on the 3rd Amp. It plugs into a normal wall outlet. Decent quality and I hope I get a few years out of it. It has 4 speeds, the 4th and highest speed is a little noisy so I set it to the 3rd speed which I cannot hear when watching TV. As the Amps cool off this fan will drop to the lower speeds as the temperature lowers in increments of 2 degrees. The 1st and 2nd speeds are silent. If your electronics are heating up you should definitely consider getting an S7.
