Good for pointy shoes!
At first I wasn't sure how these worked so I didn't open then for a bit. But then I bought these shoes and realized after a day of wear, where it really hurt. I have pretty boney feet so I used these in a lot of my pointy shoes. It takes some time to "wear" in the spot so walk around the house before you go out for more instant comfort!

Great comfort and feel but can be too thick for some spots on the foot.
My wife has a few spots on her feet that get sensitive depending on the shoes she has worn recently.She has used similar products in the past and had generally good experiences with them.In trying these she liked the gel aspect better than others she has used that aren't gel. They provide a greater barrier to shoe rub than standard pads that are more similar to a band aid.They stuck well and didn't generally move once she applied them. However, she did note that in one location her standard pads stayed in place better because they were thinner.In fact that was really her only complaint about these is that at times the thickness may not work for every spot on the foot where a standard pad would likely stay in place. They seem to need a smooth flatish surface to stay in place for an extended period.This was the only complaint she had and was pleasantly surprised by the comfort they provided.
