I'm decorating my daughters room, and wanted a cream colored canopy to put over her crib....to where she can't reach it of course. But I needed the cream colored, and the only one I found was this OctoRose Mosquito Net canopy, which worked great for my purposes! It's very simple, with just a metal hoop for creating the canopy, and mesh or netting in the color you choose, complete with a screw and plastic piece to mount in the ceiling for hooking the canopy up.As soon as I received my package, I pulled it out, and was going to use a hand steamer on it, but after a day or so, the wrinkles did fall out, so I was good to go. Instead of using the included hardware, I bought a Command Strip hardware, and used that to hold the canopy up in the ceiling so I didn't create holes everywhere. I placed the canopy on the Command Strip hook, and that was it! This canopy has a slit in the front to drape over a bed, and is super long as it flows all on the floor, although I do have low ceilings, about 7 foot I believe. For my use I cut another slit in the back, and took some pink ribbon that matched my daughters crib set, and tied a bow around each gathered end on the sides of her crib. It looks so freaking cute just like that! I then took the bow part I made around the mesh, and attached it to the wall in a drape like fashion on each side of the crib with another Command Strip, and put a picture of a chandelier beneath it. I truly felt like patting myself on the back as it turned out so cute!!! She can't reach it (even though she's not old enough to try yet), so I have no worries about her safety with this canopy.And because it's so simple, you can very easily make this canopy into something truly unique if you're crafty. Try some marabou feathers around the metal canopy part with a hot glue gun, or attach glow in the dark stars on the netting. Or you can even use a paper flower and hang it from the inside of the canopy with some string and a little glue. The possibilities are endless with this canopy!

It’s a really nice, fun, quality product. The only thing is the color on the picture is way different than in person. I’ll have to send it back because I thought it was a light pretty teal blue but it’s a dark green green teal.

I very rarely take the time to write reviews (let alone attach pictures), but I wanted to in this case with the hope my review will be helpful to someone. My daughter just turned eight and wanted a “big girl room” for her birthday. A canopy with lights above her reading chair was a tip priority. After I read dozens of reviews of different strands of lights, I settled on this one. I couldn’t be more pleased despite two reviews that made me a bit skittish at first – 1) Cord too short. I can see why people felt this way, but these lights are intended for curtains. We love that the light panel could easily tie around the curtain ties, making it easily/conveniently assessible for my daughter to change from solid to flashing lights, etc. It WORKS for us the way it was designed (see picture); 2) Tangles easily. I am glad I read this review. We used hair clips (see picture) to hang the lights from the canopy and did not untie the individual strings until all of it was attached. Then, we simply untied the separate stands which fell to the ground for a perfect result. If you purchase these lights, that is my best recommendation – Do NOT untie each strand until you have them adhered to the wall, canopy, curtain, or wherever you intend to use them. I highly recommend this product, especially for curtain rods and canopies.

We love it all. Surprisingly, it is much larger than we though. No flies bothering us !!

I live in an area that is supposedly mostly insect-free, and so our apartment building, like most in this area, does not have any screens on the windows. We sleep with the window open in our bedroom, and were being attacked by mosquitos at night!Pros: We bought this canopy netting to protect us from the mosquitoes, and it does do that well. In fact, I've seen mosquitoes land on the netting when I'm inside it (we call it the fortress) and the bugs cannot get in. Since we've purchased it, neither my husband nor I have gotten bit at night.Cons:There is only one opening in the netting, so it's difficult to get out of bed. This is especially problematic if you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom!The construction is a flimsy; the netting got caught in our comforter one night while we slept and the ring that attaches to the ceiling hook broke. The netting is light, obviously, so we weren't hurt at all, but we did wake up in a tangle of netting! In this incident, the large hoop at the top popped open. We bend the hoop back into shape (sort of) and bent the ring back so that we could rehang it. It still serves its purpose, but is not as aesthetically pleasing, now that it's bent out of shape (literally!).All that said, we still continue to use it and enjoy mosquito-free nights.

Absolutely love it !!!! At first I was like wheres the hoop part ?!?! As soon as I opened the package the hooped popped open and it was ready to be hung up !!! My nephew used the electric drill and the put the plastic part in the ceiling screwed the hook in and in less that ten min it was up and being used. The quality is great for the price. The netting is of nice thickness so it’s not going to tear easily. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!!!!

This is exactly what I was looking for - even more! there's such flow and extra fabric to be able to tuck around the mattress. It's great! highly recommended.

This canopy is exactly what I was looking for, I was concerned because of the price but it's a steal. The lights had some spots from how they were packaged that snagged onto the canopy a couple times during installation, and to my surprise it did not rip or run even a little bit.It's so good that when I upgrade my daughter's bed, I plan to get one for her. She loves it too! Everything I was hoping to find, my bed has never looked so inviting and I couldn't be happier.

My 4 year loves it so much and feel protetcted.
