This toolkit does not include the Y00 that the repair guide states is required. You'll want a toolset with Y00 and PH00 bits to complete the repair

No, the IPhone 11 is sealed and the tools in this kit aren't sufficient to open the case. A more specialized tool is needed.

Does the 2 halves of the tool case attach securely?

The halves have somewhat strong magnets that hold them together. But they are not strong enough to keep a person from opening the case. That means that you can also accidentally knock the case open and drop any loose things inside. I feel that for most of the time / most people, the case will stay securely closed. I'm happy with it!
