Through a blend of engaging illustrations and concise explanations, Tripathi masterfully distills the essence of their non-dualistic philosophy, offering readers a practical guide to self-realization. The book begins by introducing the concept of non-duality, the idea that our true nature is inseparable from the ultimate reality. This fundamental insight forms the foundation of Ramana Maharshi and Balsekar's teachings, which emphasize the importance of recognizing and abiding in one's true self. Tripathi skillfully guides readers through the intricacies of non-dual thought, addressing common misconceptions and dispelling the illusion of a separate self. The book delves into the nature of the mind, explaining how our thoughts and beliefs create the illusion of separation and perpetuate suffering. By turning one's attention inward and questioning the nature of the self, we can begin to shed the layers of conditioning that obscure our true nature. By relinquishing our attachment to outcomes and surrendering to what is, we can experience a sense of peace and liberation. Unmind stands out for its ability to convey complex spiritual concepts in a clear and accessible manner. The illustrations are not mere embellishments; they serve as powerful tools for understanding and internalizing the teachings. Each visual element is carefully crafted to reinforce the central message of the book. The book's concise format makes it an ideal companion for seekers of self-knowledge. A beginner's guide to spirituality
‘I’ am just a mere creature expressing my opinion about this book. ‘I’ might convince you or maybe not. ‘You’ may agree or maybe not. . Our lives revolve around the expression ‘I’. The book is here to convince you through illustrations that ‘I’ is just a thought and we need to go beyond it. Consciousness is all there is. . It is an innovative way to convey deep spiritual teachings in a comic form. . Though, I am not seeking spirituality, I am curious to understand one’s true self. The book can act as a beginner’s guide, maybe help settle a curious mind. . However, it’s easier said than done. Trying to make sense of our existence and purpose is what most of us struggles with. Everyone’s goal is to be happy and prosperous, but not everyone is happy and prospering. We all are figuring it out... Maybe this is it, life as we know it or maybe not.. maybe there is something beyond us, waiting for us to unravel in order to understand ourselves and be truly happy. Maybe! . I recommend this book to restless and curious minds.

The book is great but the copy i received seems used and old. Not sure if the seller is giving fresh ones or repurposing old ones. Plus this was a gift so its disappointing at another level.

I found this little book through the author's podcast of the same title. A really marvellous guide to the non-dual teachings of Advaita, in the most simple and accessible terms.

As someone who has been a voracious reader for more than 7 decades my interests have ranged from the hardcore scientific to the sometimes mystical esoteric topics. This is why while browsing on Amazon when I came across this 198 page soft cover book (Un mind by Siddharth Tripathi, illustrated by Kalyani S, Naravane) I decided to purchase it. I found this book to be somewhat strange, yet interesting at the same time. It is organized and written with a combination of brief bits of philosophical ideas and illustrations in 12 chapters covering many areas such as: “The grand illusion, the Ramana Maharshi answer re generator, two questions one answer, sympathy for the toaster, twins separated at birth, humility and compassion,” and other topics. If you like reading unusual but interesting books on deep philosophical issues you may want to check out this book. Rating: 4 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: The Samurai Soul: An old warrior’s poetic tribute).

While it was a very basic and brief explanation of the subject matter, it was presented in a fun and unique format. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and visually appealing introduction into the concepts presented.
