Mehron Makeup Lipstick Sealer (.5 oz)

I had watched a YouTube video of a beauty vlogger using this lip stick sealer. One of the segments she wears a dark red lipstick and presses a tissue to her mouth and although there was a “teeny” bit there, it was very light.I decided to give it a try after multiple fails with “smudge proof” lipsticks (even Urban Decay’s “Lip Bond” smudged even though on the box it says “transfer, smudge, and water resistant…).I applied my UD lipstick as directed. Waited a few seconds before applying the Mehron sealer and BAM - that lipstick didn’t budge. I even kissed my husband and neither he or I had “clown mouth”, lol (I kissed him a few times to make sure).So will this wear through quite a bit of stuff. I did notice that it will tend to make your lipstick flake off a bit (after a lot of wear and kissing - I mean kissing).Also, it does have quite a minty smell, which is not overpowering. The bottle should last a long time since you only need a small amount to cover your lips.One caveat: it does not play well with lip gloss. Only lipstick. The oils from the gloss break up and make small pieces on your lips.Overall love it!

Really does work with most lipsticks, meaning you can eat drink or wear a face mask (for short periods), without worrying about your lipstick moving. The lipsticks it does not work with tend to be the really moisturising ones, however works with most of mine. Does dry lips a bit so worth having a lip balm or sleep mask in too.

Il brûle les lèvres il sent trop fort ça brûle aussi les yeux avec les vapeur je ne le recommande pas du tout. Ce produit n'est vraiment pas bon. Et le rouge à lèvres ne tient pas plus ... juste non

This stuff… yikes. Not moisturizing at all, has less longevity than my lipstick without it and thus isn’t a good value for the money either. It is 100% worthless and stings like a bunch of bees to boot. But, even though it stings, it doesn’t even plump, so… no.Also, this bs never dries, it stays tacky forever and I’m not even in a humid climate.
