Perception HD 10x42mm Hunting Binoculars

original pair had double vision, unless one eye closed - no matter how i adjusted them, i get double vision (one pic on top of the other), unless i closed one eye.these were brand new, never used & i had several people try them - all with the same results. very annoying for a $300 pair of binoculars & am exchanging them in hopes it's just a defect with this pair. with one eye closed, the picture is great - but my 20 year old Bushnell's function much better. Very disappointed. contacted seller for replacement & the new pair works great - very sturdy & high resolution binoculars

Hey guys! Gotta say thanks for making such a great pair of binos. My vortex broke again(company went downhill and now I won’t buy anything of there’s) so I needed another pair. Had read some good things about yours but when they arrived Wednesday I was still surprised. Everything was super crisp and felt not tight but just perfect. No wiggles or wobbles. Glass was clear and sharp, no color distortion or trouble focusing. Wednesday night we rolled out to hunt the weekend. Thursday morning an hour before sunrise I was spotting elk! The leupold’s and other guys vortex couldn’t even gather enough light and I could tell we had 2 bulls 1400 yards away! We hunted hard and these binos got dirty quick but no scuffs or scratches on the outside and even in the bit of rain or with sweat on my hands they gripped well. Friday these binos proved worth every penny. We weren’t seeing elk and nothing responded to calls but as we got up to leave I glassed a far hillside and there at the crest of the hill was antlers! 5 seconds later they were a mature bull! We sat back down and kept calling and the elk disappeared into a draw before anyone else saw him with their binos. Few minutes later he popped up and at 850 yards I could count all 6 points on each side and judge him and we got ready. He bugled and came running in and my buddy made the perfect heart and double lung shot at 45 yards. We put this bull solely on your binos as without them we wouldn’t have seen this elk for sure and had just left. Another note, the mornings were 30 degrees and never once did they fog up even with our excited breathing right on the lens as we passed em around. I’ll be heading to a wet and hopefully snowy chunk of Washington next month for mule deer and I’m excited to get on a hill glassing with these binos. 3-4 hours each morning just staring through them and never once did I get the eye cramps or watery eyes or whatever else people claim they get. Awesome binos and after only the past 4 days hard use I’d recommend them to anyone! They really blew me away. A upland optics spotting scope will probably be in my future.Dylan

Got a pair and loved them until the rt eye piece just fell off! First trip in the middle of an expensive hunt. Thank God I did not see any animals that day. Sent them back and used my new set about 6-8 times and eye piece falls off again. It’s a shame because the view is very clear but the extremely poor durability is just not right. I will be trying to get my money back and just move on to another trusted brand.

I needed good binoculars for Sage Grouse Lek monitoring and hunting. I didn't want to spend a lot on something I was going to bang around in the field. I took a chance with these and I am very happy. Amazing clarity! I have never owned a great pair of binos and now I can say that I do. I have been glassing looking for bighorn sheep with them and they are a joy to use. In addition being very good optics for the price, the customer service from the company has been awesome. I lost the eyepiece protection right out of the gate. After searching around on the website to see if I could buy a replacement set I contacted customer service to ask about that as I did not see an option. They wrote back to send them my name and address and they would replace for free! Customer for life here!

I purchased these back in September of 2018. Great binoculars while they worked. Recently, the fine adjustment on the right monocular stopped working properly. No problem, it happens. But I have been trying to day to contact someone (anyone) from the company for warranty support and no one ever answers their phone or returns calls. And the same situation with email. To me, that says that the warranty is meaningless because you can't get it repaired is something happens. Great product, but buyer beware if you ever need to reach anyone at the company.

I purchased Perception 10x42 binoculars from Amazon on 4/15/2020. I’ve used them on and off since the purchase. The optics were okay for the price, they were never very clear. I took them out in April of this year and the eye piece on one side fell off. I remember that they advertise a life time warranty so I emailed CS on April 8th. After a few informational emails, they said that I’d receive a return shipping label. I month later (as well as a few email inquiries) I received the label. Tracking showed that the binoculars were accepted by them on May 8th. Tempus fugit, in August, I found myself looking for a pair of binoculars. I remembered the Uplands and once again emailed CS. They informed me that they had just received them. Incredulous, I replied that tracking showed May 8. A few days later they replied that a new set would be coming. Still waiting on tracking and the binoculars (8/29/24).In closing, if you are considering Upland, there are similar or better manufacturers that provide better glass and CS ( Vortex and Bushnell to name two).
