Not super snug fit on clamp, tends to fall off

They fit the 50 clamps (for 3/4" black pipe) perfectly and are snug. Yes, they will work with the 52 clamps (for 1/2" black pipe), but they are very loose.

Some might disagree on whether or not you need a pad for pipe clamps. I'm sure we can all agree that pipe clamps are capable of putting down some serious pressure. Even on hardwoods you are going to get a divot in the edge of your workpiece if you clamp too hard. These rubber pads help greatly in reducing that. A lot of times it doesn't really matter because you make your piece over size and trim it down later anyway. However, I feel a lot better having good edges to my work in case of a drop or damage to part of the piece that needs to be cut off. Might have to pick up another set of these, but already got 2 packs so I should be set for a while. Oh, and just in case. These do fit 3/4" pipe clamps. I have the Pony clamps and they slide on tightly so they should stay put.

The use is great but the fit is too large and not snug. I bought these for the pony 50 3/4 inch clamps. But the keep falling off. I tried double stick tape but they slipped under heavy clamping. I finally heated them with a heat gun and clamped a piece of wood very tightly. That seems to have done the trick. So far. I'll let you know if I continue to have problems.

I've been using this brand a long time. The new black ones seem to work as well as the old ones.

There's nothing wrong with these, but I just wanted to warn people that these only fit the Pony 50 & 52 pipe clamps. They're too small for the Pony 55 pipe clamps. It's a bit annoying, because the description does not mention this problem. In fact, the "Frequently Purchased Together" section shows these pads with the Pony 55 clamps!

I built a shed recently with a wide door to accomodate big tools. I made this door out of 2x6 tongue-and-groove decking boards, which I needed to clamp together to attach 2x4 bracing. So a pair of "Pony" clamp fixtures and a couple lengths of black pipe was just the ticket -- or almost. The decking boards needed a bit of persuasion to get all 9 planks together, and I didn't want to gouge the nice oak. Some cedar shims against the clamp pads promptly crumpled when I tightened the clamps. So I left the door until the next weekend and ordered these clamp pads. Now I have a nice shed with a sturdy, attractive door on it. And no clamp marks! Strongly recommended.

These cushion clamps fit like a glove on the Pony clamps that I ordered at the same time. Perfect fit, just the right 'give' (not too soft, not too hard), very high level of protection. It is a very high quality product.
