I was looking to try a conditioner that was EWG certified to contain no harmful chemicals, but was skeptical that it could condition my hair as well as my previous conditioner (which I liked, but had more questionable chemical ingredients in it). This conditioner from Baja Baby was so much better than I expected! It made my wet hair easy to comb through and my hair was really soft when it air dried. The only reason I can see for me to stop using this is if I can find another EWG certified conditioner that works as well for a cheaper price.

I love this conditioner! The consistency is thick, and a little goes a long way on my medium length hair. It has a very pretty light "creamsicle" scent that I really like, and I am very happy with how soft and shiny my hair is after using this conditioner. I have been searching for months for a nontoxic hair conditioner and was thrilled to find that this conditioner is EWG verified.

I very much value using non toxic products in my everyday routine, especially as it pertains to personal and makeup products. Unfortunately, many non toxic conditioners that I have previously tried have left my hair feeling heavy and oily, while the ends feel stringy, tangled, brittle, and dry. I was SO happy to discover this EWG certified product that ACTUALLY WORKED. Not only did this product work, but it works better than many high end (Paul Mitchel, Redkin, Monat, etc.) products that I had used prior to my non toxic journey. This is not just for children, but for adults too. Again, truly the best conditioner that I have ever used and I am currently twenty six years old. For reference, I have thin, straight hair.

Love this conditioner but have to buy 4 to get free shipping from manufacturer's site so I was excited to see that it is now sold on Amazon! But I have ordered twice and the seal was broken BOTH TIMES! Baja Baby seals from the outside as well, Amazon doesn't. Buy from them directly.

Updated review: I just used this conditioner on my older child, whose hair is thicker and more coarse than my baby's hair. After two weeks of use (washing his hair every other or third day), his hair has become noticeably softer. I had rarely used conditioner on his hair in the past, as he has a super short hair cut (0-2 blade, faded) and I didn't think it would make a difference. Boy, was I wrong. I will continue to use Baja Baby conditioner for both my children! Love!Original review: Super light conditioner, washes away clean, perfect for my 17-month old baby's fine hair. The scent is mild and not overbearing. My baby doesn't have much hair though, so I don't know how it holds up for babes with long, curly, or thick hair. 4 stars because I feel I have to use more of this conditioner over my previous brand to get the same amount of coverage on baby's hair.

I am a grown woman and I use this on my own hair (vs. a baby's).One disclaimer -- One thing I have learned in my transition to "healthier" body care products is that they typically don't live up to the expectations we've developed from using the less healthy products. The reason these were developed to begin with was to enhance the outcomes we experience -- softer hair, less tangles, more foaming so you really feel CLEAN! It's amazing what science can do, but I don't trust the effects of many of these ingredients on our bodies. To successfully transition to this lifestyle, you have to be willing to sacrifice some of the effects you're used to, in favor of (hopefully) better health, and peace of mind.That being said, this product is on the higher end of satisfying expectations and producing good effects. It takes some getting used to if you are accustomed to using standard drugstore, or even high-end salon, hair products. It has a thinner consistency than most conditioners I've used, making it kind of runny and hard to apply. I have very long hair--it you have shorter hair, it's probably more manageable. I also have to comb it through a bit to ensure it's spread evenly and covering all of my hair.But the end result is on par with my previous favorite conditioners. I have very thin, fine hair (not unlike a baby) and as one of nature's fun tricks, while it desperately needs moisture, it is also easily weighed down and made limp, stringy, and oily by moisture. I've long since stopped conditioning anything but my ends, but some conditioners do weigh my hair down. This does not. It air-dries quickly and is soft and light. And the smell is heavenly. I would recommend.

I bought this for myself because I was having trouble finding a non toxic conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised. It makes my hair so soft! I will repurchase.
