Tablecraft Wok Spoon with Bamboo Handles, 16", Brown

Oh my god, these are huge! I love it. Got both the strainer and the flat ladel for a Chinese wok. The construction is classic and functional. There's a leather strip like a string-sized thickness, so that you can hang it up. The face is actually huge, which should make it superb for either mixing or serving sauce with the ladel or to strain or simply toss with the strainer. There's a Chinese character on a golden colored piece at thr top of the handle. Just a classic, functional work of art. I love it! Buy it! You will love it.

Although shallower than most, this ladel does make up in diameter (slightly shy of 5 inches across.)Pretty sturdy, made out of steel, for years of use. I like that there is hardware affixing the wooden handle to the metal spoon. Just as a side note, this ladel is on the heavier side compared to likewise, which is fine by me.The extended handle works well when cooking with my wok or just keeping my hands away from the heat in general.It is also an elegant ethnic addition to my kitchenware.

Wok spoon is terrific - and better for cookng eggs over a fire than AliceWaters' $260 boutique extravagance. Generously proportioned, cool to the touch,easy to clean, well-made and pleasing to the eye. It is a great bargain.

My son likes this spoon to use when making stir fry. The long handle is good for use with a wok. Cleans well. The quality is good but my son was able to bend it when putting a lot of pressure on it. Nonetheless, he says it is very sturdy and well made. I noticed from one of the other reviews that the reviewer received a "slotted spoon." When we ordered the spoon, the picture shown by Amazon was of a spoon with holes, but the picture has since been changed, to show a solid spoon - no holes or slots. Interestingly enough, even though when we ordered it the picture was the one with holes, that is not what we received. We received the solid version. We had wanted the spoon with holes, but this item is still a good product so we are keeping it. Now we just have to find one with holes.

I like that the spoon section is more shallow than other wok spoons, so it's almost a spatula/spoon hybrid.I've been watching youtube videos to see how the restaurant guys use these wok spoons. It's still sharp enough to scrape but you can move more volume than a spatula and serving is easier. I've been using this now exclusively and like it better than the wok spatula.It's also really sturdy and solid.

Loved this out of the package and love it after using it. Super sturdy wooden handle and quality metal body. Great for cooking in the wok.

I have owned this for seven months and it works perfectly with my WOK. It is durable, easy to use and clean. I love it!! I looked at several Wok spoons and it is a tough task to find one that will work out so well. If you purchase this item you will have made a good selection. I would purchase again...if and when I need another one.

Handle was really loose at the connection from steel to wood, right out of the box.

Like other reviewers have said the handle is loose, don’t think it’s going to fall off but it’s got a wobble to it. Other than that it’s solid and it’s good sized. Lost one star for the wobbly handle.
