Full of info.
Great book. As a new pacemaker patient wanting to know more information to get my programming right for me. A very easy to read and understand. It doesn’t go into super depth on some topics but enough to give you some understanding.

Clear and understandable presentation of a complex subject!
Complex material in an extremely readable format. Well done. While I come from a computer background, I am not a medical practitioner at all and I found this book very helpful in understanding not only my husband's pacemaker but also the bigger picture of electrical conduction issues in the human heart.

End your Pacemakers Fears
Great resource to have. It breaks down difficult concepts into simple ones to understand. I am not afraid to deal with pacemakers anymore.

Worth reading for...
A very good mid-level book for RNs, PAs, and seriously geeky patients.

Inaccurate information
It would be great if it was accurate. Describing atrial fib as regularly irregular and other atrial arrhythmias as irregularly irregular (p54). Not understanding the duration in milliseconds and how it equates to the heart rate: specifically speaking to chapter 6 page 53. I could overlook all of the small grammatical errors, but now the content is not even accurate. Highly disappointed. I will be asking for a refund.
