Sehr empfehlenswert!

Not a Gimmick
When I saw the super fit, good looking couple on the cover of this book, I was reminded of how our media culture promotes sex as only for the young, gorgeous, and fit. Translated: if you aren't young, gorgeous and fit, you aren't worthy of sex or romance. So I imagined this book was about how to get fit to make yourself more attractive to others. I thought it was another get-in-shape book, with sex as a gimmicky approach. I expected a collection of ab excercises. Oh my goodness, I couldn't have been more off the mark!Inside were excercises on how to move better, how to feel better, and how to feel more while engaging in sexy stuff with ones partner. Let me emphasize: "how to feel more." Yes, the excercises get you in shape and make you more flexible and be able to move more fluidly... but primarily, they open up a whole new level of body-awareness, enabling one to really enjoy oneself physically, and most importantly, to be at home in ones skin. There were diagrams of the spine, hipbones, and nerves, with a scientific/biologic rundown of orgasm. Hullo! I was expecting sit-ups! The excercises were primarily for enhancing different aspects of sensual pleasure, however, they are excellent all around, for fitness, flexibility, etc. I loved the hip stretches. The author stated that a lot of women hold tension in their hips. Until I did the stretches, I didn't realize how much tension I had. Doing the excercises gave me a whole-body sense of well being, and I believe that translates into more fun in the bedroom. The excercises allow your entire body to be present. In addition to the excercises, and why and how to perform them, there was a lot of information on creating more turn-on for your partner, how to communicate, what people respond to, etc. I thought it was done really well...the scientific/biological background and diagrams, the respect and love for a partner, the excercises to get one in shape and get people into their bodies, humor, sexiness... the book was so much more than I expected, in a really good way.The only cons were a couple of excercises that I wasn't sure I was doing properly. Most were clear and concise -- there were lots of photos, and specific numbered steps. But there were a couple that I wasn't sure if I was following correctly. That could very well just be me, because I can't follow directions for putting together IKEA furniture. A video clip might be nice.Overall, this book WAY surpassed my expectations. And the excercises gave me a really good feeling of being at home in my body. Ladies, ever notice how some women are sexy, and it's not their looks? It's because they are at home in their bodies. The excercises in this book give you that. I would imagine it'd be the same for men, too.Note: I bought the kindle edition. At the time, the Kindle title was, "Fit for Love." Unlike the hard copy description, the title was not followed by: "Hip and Core Exercises for Strength and Flexibility, Intimate Massages to Prepare Your Lover for Pleasure, and Over 20 Positions for Passionate, Sensual Sex."Hence, I had no idea that I'd find all that inside, and I thought I was buying just another fitness book.Boy, was i pleasantly surprised!

Thank you Billy, GREAT BOOK!!
Sex is indeed sacred and can be enjoyable on a deeper level. Sex is a gift from the Most High that has been horribly abused and mis-understood. I appreciate the research that Billy has done and shared with the public. I do not share his religious views but the spiritual principles are universal in many places. I just got my copy and am reading through it and will be one of my "go to" books over and over again! :)
