Convert It!: A simple step-by-step guide for converting any classic car into an electric vehicle.

For an amateur (me) looking for basic information about what, how, and probable costs, this book is pretty perfect. It isn't overly technical in the language or application involved. In other words, it is exactly what I hoped to find.

It is what I had hoped for. Not too deep in the technical but enough to educate me. Will know what questions to ask when I want to more details. Too often books like this dive deeper than I want to go to make the book thicker. Feel like I know enough not to make my first try mistakes which is great.

This thin but quite complete book about this subject is very current which is important in a quickly developing industry. Well worth the money. When you've read the book you will understand what you don't still need to learn as you will know what you don't know about building an EV. Terrific value and very helpful.

Ok book about the early days of conversions, worth having.

This book can be read cover to cover in a few hours. It is short easy reading and covers some of the basics. The content would have been better for a few magazine articles rather than a 77 page book. It probably could have been printed without such large margins and single spaced to bring it down to 25 pages or so. I am disappointed by the lack of more detailed information but it gave me some leads as to where to go next. Armed with these rudimentary definitions and concepts, I can now search for manufactures and kit suppliers on the net to get up to date information and start the research.

This book has a great overview of the components necessary for an EV conversion and what they do. If you are starting from square one on an EV conversion, this is an excellent resource to get started on your project.

This book is not only for those who might want to build their own electric car but also for those who want to learn the ins-and-outs of how electrics cars. Even is a person does not intend on building an electric car, the information is very useful to help understand the systems and components in electric cars. The book is clearly written, and the text supported by appropriate photographs. The photographs are a bit grainy, but they adequately support the text. Overall, an excellent starting point for those who want to learn about electric cars.

I have been searching online trying to find more information about converting my classic car to electric and could only find bits and pieces of information. This book is comprehensive on how to convert a classic car to electric and a great guide for a novice like myself.Thank you for writing this book!
