This is a very different album from Sarah following her decision to go into space the cd explores this ,it's more of a soundscape ,very chilled just give it a try !

so silly to even comment on yet another internet troll with NO LIFE except to gripe, whine & make over the top negative remarks! Internet troll anthony morelli...NO ONE CARES what you have to say about the great & awesome Sarah Brightman's Dreamchaser cd!! Have seen over 140 concerts...a don't miss event...absolutely amazing...three standing ovations(about 6300 people). What I might pay to have a 5 minute face-to-face with internet troll anthony morelli!!

Must say it's a major disappointment though. Gone is the edge in every aspect on the album.My own personal opinion...the album is an ongoing journey of ballad-based, melancholic material that I never expected to hear on an entire CD.After 28 years of being a Sarah Brightman fan, this is a kick in the head.When I obtained the new music, my excitement was brief, for the album bored and depressed me.Upon first listen, I could only bear to skim through a few seconds of each track rather than playing the album from start to finish.Then, after playing the whole album 2 or 3 times, I actually said out loud "What the heck is going on? Is this the beginning of the end for her?"Everything is so saccharine, it makes me want to barf!I did upload the album twice on my iphone but removed it both times.Gone is the edge and sass which came with all Sarah's last pop CDs. Wow, far from that breath-taking journey the "Eden" and "Fly" CDs took us on, huh?The only upbeat song is a cover of Elbow's "One Day Like This". This one is way too puzzling.Who the heck is Elbow anyway? I never heard of them before listening to Sarah's version of it.It's obviously not a new song and was written before I was born. Find the error. Is there nothing else to come up with than digging through an inventory of music from the 60's and 70's?Speaking of cover tunes.......Yeah, once again, Dreamchaser is full of cover tunes. Considering she's capable of writing her own music and appealing to today's market, she still continues taking other people's music and re-arranging it suitable for her albums.Due to my disappointment, I'm NOT going to attend the Dreamchaser World Tour when Sarah comes to Montreal this September.I'm not impressed with her high-pitched, saccharine little girl voice.Too much processing was done on the album, with a metallic flange and a very wet sound.Gone is the powerful edge and the emotion in both the music and singing which drew me so deeply into her albums on the EastWest and Angel labels.Was this her decision or the decision of Sally Herbert and Mike Hedges (her new producers)?Frank Peterson is gone, whom by far, played a major role in the awesome sound on her albums.Ok sure, Sarah can follow a childhood dream of hers. Doesn't mean Dreamchaser had to end up one continous journey without a good balance between songs.As for the song selection, well, I held my breath in hope that "Lento E Largo" (The one and only Operatic Piece) would be the best track on the album but to my dismay, it's one of the worst. Sarah's voice is thin and strained, which cannot compare with the voice of Dawn Upshaw on her version of the same piece."A Song of India" is downright awful. Sarah's wet, layered vocalizing on this song gives the impression she's a wailing banshee.Canadian Comedy/Opera/Classical singer Natalie Choquette does a breath-taking version of it both live and in the studio.The song is supposed to be light and dreamy and powerful at the same time.Perhaps it's finally time to sever the ties I had as a fan over the past 28 years.I don't believe the Dreamchaser show will do any justice to the music on the CD.This played a dominant role in my decision to sit this tour out.I'll put my money toward more important things. Afterall, there will probably be a DVD of this tour anyway.I wasn't really impressed with the Symphony World Tour when she came to Montreal. Sarah's voice was already strained and tired at that show.The photos in the booklet are.....well...what am I supposed to say? Sarah is beautiful at 53 years of age. Thanks to Photoshop and her stylist.She knows exactly how to market herself in this day and age. With a body like hers, who wouldn't?The picture on the non-playing side of the CD is kinda weird.It should've been just a plain white disc with silver lettering.When it came to Sarah's commercial releases (Since "DIVE"), not much bothered me up until listening to Dreamchaser.Diehard fans will love this album. I have it because as part of my collection, but among the bottom 3 albums

This is just another excuse for her fans to run out with money to burn, to get a copy of a cd just for 2 other songs, which can be downloaded on the net, from places with ease. You just have to look.The worst is that the booklet remains the same throughout all the versions, and the photoshop artist did a really good job on her flawless skin.Thanks to botox and the highest quality photo-retouching software on the market today.If the item were to at least be packaged in a really lush box or something, i could understand, but the only change is the damned "TARGET" sticker on the front........just so that people can flash their copy on the net and to their friends.This is getting so f-ing old and tired and I wish it would stop.At least if it were good music, I could understand, but this is a less than mediocre album and the 2 bonus tracks are less than mediocre TOO!I think they're releasing all these versions just so that people will go out and buy it and show off their huge collection of the Dreamchaser and Dreamchaser-related music, sadly to say it's an f-ing waste of money!So many versions of something really cheap, boring and just not good enough to even gain an overall 4-star review average on amazon.Whenever sarah says jump, they all jump, ready to hand out money to her, for her records. It's just damned ridiculous!!!

Ordering and receipt were smooth. If you llike Sarah Brightman you'll like this - even if your not sure, this may change your mind

By every New Chapter I start finding many New Things in the Music which I do love, because I like to listen to wery few musichans, but she thuch my soul.yes, I do noy have to say much, mostly People ask me : what a wonderful woice!

OOK. not what expected music wise, but you cannot fault the voice. Would suggest a prior listenbefore purchase.
