It was on sale so I bought one. After using it I had to buy more. Five more in fact. This is really how thermoses should be made. You don't have to worry that it's going to bend or get damaged in some way because it's super durable. The style is simple. It's just a basic cylindrical cup. Instead of a traditional thermos where you have to first remove the cup, and then the stopper, and then pour the drink into the cup to drink it. With this one the thermos is the cup. You simply remove the stopper, and drink. The quadvac technology is very noticeable. I feel no need at all to charge the thermos with either hot liquids or cold liquids. You simply pour in your beverage and go. It'll maintain the temperature as if you had charged it.Now the lid does have a little bit of a flaw. The cup is 18 Oz however if you fill it up to the 18 Oz the lid doesn't close quite properly. In other words the lid does close, your beverage will not leak out, but it just doesn't sit the way it's supposed to however if you fill it to 17 Oz instead of 18 that problem goes away. It's because it needs some gap between the lid and the liquid for it to screw in completely. I still actually fill it up to 18 Oz. After the first sip the problem ceases to exist.On the topic of durability...... For the longest time I always desired a good sturdy durable thermos, and finally Stanley is making it.... But I didn't think that instead of having to worry about my thermos getting damaged I now have to worry about everything else around it getting damaged. You want to be careful when you set it down on marble countertops, glass tops, and I'm sorry to say if you're driving and it flies out of your hand it's most likely not going to bounce off your dashboard. It's pretty much just going to bash through it and make you a brand new cup holder in your dashboard...... So excellent quality by far. Just be careful.(Maybe a little exaggerated, but not too far from the truth)Also this is definitely a great gift idea. I plan to eventually by all the different thermoses in this series.And one other thing.... If when you receive one, and it looks like it's scuffed, it most likely isn't. The scuffs rub off. Just give it a good wash before you use it. Don't just do a basic rince.

Neta probé todo tipo de termos y ninguno me dejó contento. Llevaba tiempo buscando el mejor termo casi industrial, para mis necesidades Godínez y lo he encontrado en este master series. Así que les comparto detalles sobre mi uso.Pros:*Este termo es virtualmente irrompible (al menos que lo avientes en una forja de hierro) pero puedes estar seguro no le va a pasar nada si se te cae)*Mantiene las bebidas calientes por bastante tiempo (como prueba he dejado café muy caliente recién preparado y 12 horas después sigue confortablemente tibio). Si lo que quieres es beber 2 - 2.5 tazas de café en un lapso de 4-5 horas mientras estás en la oficina, es más que perfecto. Su aislante térmico es mejor que el de un STANLEY normal, y se nota la diferencia.*La tapa se enrosca a la perfección y no tiene boquilla para beber, por lo que lo puedes aventar a una mochila o maleta o al asiento del coche y jamás se derramará.*No importa lo que diga la publicidad, muchos termos dejan sabor y olor metálico en el café o el agua. En este modelo, es muy poco perceptible.Contras:*Es algo pesado, no lo recomendaría para cargarlo en la mano a todos lados pero si lo metes en tu mochila o bolsa y no te importa algo de peso, está perfecto. Incluso creo que puedes usarlo como arma de defensa por lo sólido de su construcción.*No tiene boquilla para beber fácilmente mientras caminas o conduces. Para abrirlo, hay que desenroscar la tapa (sella muy bien) y es algo muy impráctico de hacer estando en movimiento.*Si se te cae al piso por accidente, probablemente despertarás a todo el vecindario.En resumen: si quieres sacrificar un poco de movilidad pero mantener bebidas calientes o frías a una excelente temperatura por mucho tiempo, esto es IDEAL.

Not only is it the best bottle I've ever had its also the heaviest, but it does such a good job at keeping liquids cold, it's unreal, especially if you add a little ice, amazing!

Great product keeps my coffee nice and hot seems built to last for a long time.
