Draper Mini Mitre Block Box 200mm x 35mm x 50mm - 48677 - Wood Angle Cutting Guide Miter Tool

Not quite a cut above the rest.
For what it is & how little it costs you can't go wrong. It's deceptively smaller then it looks in the picture so be warned if you intend on using it to cut anything over 2"It's a solid little mitre box with the standard 90 & 45 degree cuts, if your intention is to use it frequently then I'd certainly go for a larger box, I'm using mine for decorative mouldings & quad so my large mitre box would be over kill.Had no issues with the angles being out or deviation after a weeks use.

Good Product
Needed a mitre box to cut some skirting board and laminate flooring edge strips in a hurry. My Mitre saw had blown up..... This was delivered next day and worked really well.

Too easily damaged in use
Ok I suppose the old saying is true, you get what you pay for.For what it is , its ok and its accurate initially. However, it's made of plastic with quite wide slots that don't secure the saw vertically and after a couple of uses the tenon saw had cut away some plastic from the 90* slot which then reduced the accuracy. Not sure how this was ever supposed to last long given the saws teeth are wider than the blade and will always grind off some of the plastic however you hold it. It really needs the top of the cutting groove to be narrower to keep the saws blade vertical while preventing the teeth catching the plastic. Can't really recommend even at such a cheap price.

Great tool, great value!
Brilliant little mitre box. Perfect for making my own picture frames for my art. So much better than a large mire box. I use a small length of wood which is the exact inner width as a bed for the wood that I cut. Saves the plastic and provides a visible X as an extra guide for 45 degree mitre. Then mounted on a wooden base with two screws and the base clamped in a workmate table it is foolproof! Great joints every time. I have just ordered another two for the future. Really have. Great price great tool!

Terrible..
I'm no carpenter, I thought I'd get that out there right away... I can cut a mitre joint using a mitre box and a small saw though and have done many times in the past when doing small home improvements. This box was just not any good, the angles were slightly off of the 45° and 90° and the cuts in the box were out of true. This has lead to a terrible job in my kitchen and the waste of a pack of quadrant beading, all I can say is thank the Lord for white mastic..
