Best for the 4/3 user this is another excellent product from Optech
This is not my first Optech product and as usual I'm impressed with the level of quality in their products. This Snoot Boot is the perfect size for my 50mm portrait lens and does an excellent job of keeping it safe. For DSLR users there aren't many lenses that will fit to be honest - so this may be better suited to the 4/3 user.I'd like to add an aside about Optech's customer service. I lost the plastic screw that held my camera case onto my camera, and emailed Optech to buy a couple of spares. I was most impressed by their response - they simply put two in the post free of charge. All the way from the USA. Now THAT is good service and THAT is why I will continue to buy Optech.

PER PROTEGGERE LA TESTA DEL CAVALLETTO
Mi serviva una cuffia per proteggere la testa del mio cavalletto quando lo trasporto attaccato allo zaino fotografico. Questo prodotto, giunto puntualmente, è proprio quello che cercavo e sostituisce il sacchetto di tessuto originale della testa. E' realizzato in neoprene nero da una ditta americana che produce accessori per la fotografia. Dispone di un laccio per stringere il bordo mentre sul lato è cucito un passante con un gancio in plastica per cui può essere utilizzato per agganciarlo alla cintura. Volendo potrebbe essere anche utilizzato come contenitore per un obiettivo fotografico, ma secondo il mio parere non lo proteggerebbe al meglio; potrebbe essere utilizzato per mantenere gli obiettivi nel cassetto dell'attrezzatura fotografica.

Well-made - Great for small primes
This is a great size for small glass. I've used mine to protect a 16mm Nikon Fisheye, a 1.4x Teleconverter, a 35mm f/2D prime - and even an 85mm f/1.8 prime (no hoods for the last two though)The neoprene is nice and thick, but is flexible and supple enough not to get creases, common with cheaper knock-offs. The stitching is also top notch and the drawstring works as it should.I have a couple of these, and use it when I want to go 'indig' and use a non-camera bag to stow my gear. With it's minimal silhouette, it takes up much less space than small lens cases from ThinkTank, Lowe Pro or Tamrac.Highly recommended!
