Campingaz, Grill and Stand Camping Stove, compact outdoor gas cooker

I wanted one of these last year but as we were only having 1 camping trip we decided to wait and eek out another year from our old camping stove. I'm so pleased with this, our last one didnt have the stand so we either had to take a second table or have it take up space on the table we were eating on - not the best. This doesn't take up much extra space int he car but is totally free-standing - and pretty stable. the 2 separte grills are great as we cook pasta/potatoes/beans in a pan on one side and then meat /toast on the grill on the other. Really easy to clean - if you remember to put water in the bottom of the grill pans!

I bought this for a camping trip and as listed in the advert I expected to receive the empty gas bottle as well.Sadly,the first unit arrived and was badly damaged and had no bottle.Amazon were great and sent a replacement. This was not damaged but had no empty.Contacting Amazon again I received mixed messages that the unit didn't come with one, and then i was told it was out of stock. After hours on the phone we came to an agreement but it left me without a bottle for my trip, which was very frustrating.The unit itself is very good, it folds down nice and small and isn't very heavy.Like others said the piezo unit can be sporadic, but the gas is powerful on the max setting and is marginally slower than my home hob.All in I like the unit but the whole experience has been soured.

Powerful wind proof gas burners for outside cooking. Cooks a lot quicker than regular stoves without the Xcelerate burners. Self contained, no need for table as mounts on own easy to fit legs. Additional side wings to helping with handling pots and food prep. Will be taking camping soon. I think it suits being setup and left in position ready for use for duration of your camping holiday, though it's no big effort to setup. It's a substantial item thats effectively like taking your kitchen cooker camping with you, so you'll be able to cook like being at home.

Great design for transporting and use. easy to put up, and looks great. Griddle works well and it does boil things fast. I have sent back for refund as you can’t regulate the flame so when cooking you can’t simmer, which the website claims it can. Unless mine was faulty. Also couldn’t contact seller to discuss. Spoke to camping Gazdirect and they were not helpful kept saying it was designed to accelerate to boil which is okay if you just wanted to boil water. I was trying to cook curry for the kids in the rain. Had to keep switching it off so that I didn’t burn the food and toMake sure food was cooked properly. We ended up eating out most of the time which was expensive. Cost £50.00 to post back.

One Igniter does not function, examination showed there is a wire that was trapped during the assembly process hence piezo ignitor shorts.The lid stay does not fix securely hence lid can be blown down.This was not a cheap item so I am very disappointed

Really pleased with this item. The only downside is that it takes a while to clean after BBQ-ing - but highly recommended

Works great how ever the catch to hold the lid up needs improving
