Works just as well as the other (more expensive brands) this stuff is solid
This stuff will reduce road noise in your vehicle. I bought the nine piece kit which had bigger pieces of material which was perfect for what I had in mind. It is of the same quality as the more expensive brands but went on just as well and didn’t have that tar smell or whatever you’d call it. The box was just as heavy as a box of 80 mill from another company. Me personally, I did t want the inside of my car blue with Amazon written all over it so I bought one of these kits to use as the base layer and then out the other (more appealing) deadener on top. Some people choose not to layer when they sound dampen… I will always put down multiple layers. For the price of everything I got, I figured might as well go big or not at all. So I bought over 100 square foot in total of 3 different kinds of sound deadener. It may not look as good as the other stuff, but it is probably better if you’re on a budget and you don’t mind the blue or the Amazon basics written everywhere on it. Keeps heat out and cool air in. Looks wise, it isn’t for me but for the price I was gonna buy a lot more. Just make sure you read the description of the kit that you buy. Two of them, the more expensive ones, are the ones you wanna buy. The other kit is only enough to cover like 1450 square inches as opposed to 36 square foot. But some one you will in fact still buy it just because the price difference and think youve won. So don’t say you weren’t warned

Thick enough, solve my rattle noise.
Great value for the quantity, the aluminium backing is great, and the rubber is sticky enough for me to place it before rolling the mat. It doesn't have any funky smell, it just smells like rubber. If you like the colour blue (even if you are never going to see it), they look nice. The material is thick enough to kill the rattle noise of my panels, and they are easy to work with. I don't know how long they should last, but I'll change my review if I have any problems with it.

2012 Prius great improvement in Noise reduction
Excellent road noise reduction in my 2012 Prius. I lined the inside rear wheel wells, the spare tire cavity and the whole trunk floor pan, the rear quarter panels. The car is much quieter at highway speeds. There was a general noise, background hum that I found annoying for extensive highway driving. I need to find time to line the rear door panels to complete the reduction. I used about 1/3 of the item sheets, enough to do my other cars.

Great performing sound deadening but be aware of the thickness changes
These Amazon Basics sound deadening was advertised as 0.1" thick (100 mil) but in reality they're closer to 70mil and it also over time they changed the formula. If you get the 34 piece, they're around 80 mil but if you get the 9 piece it goes down to 60 mil. it even states in the manual now that the 9 piece and the 10 piece option are thinner at 60 mil. If you get the 34 piece set, it's still 80 mil. I did reach out to Amazon customer service and they did remove the thickness from the listing now. They just don't mention how thick it is now.I purchased the 80 mil thick version and it does help improve the sound quality in my vehicles. Bass hits tighter and no annoying rattles that ruin the music.

Good product
I used it on a Nissan Pathfinder R-50 (1999-2003), the diesel version, which is very noisy, and even more so over the years. I installed it on both the roof and the floor (I'm missing the doors). I've noticed a difference in both the sound and the temperature. It's worth it. I installed it myself. You just need basic knowledge and tools, space, and time.

Better than the expensive name brand stuff
One box did the entire floorpan and a little over half a box did the roof. This stuff is just as good as the expensive stuff your favorite YouTuber uses at half the price. It’s just as thick and there’s just as much square footage in the box.Don’t waste your money on the other stuff unless that’s your thing.

Works great!
Got this to sound deaden the rear deck and rear shelf for my Acura TL Since I was installing a RF P3 12". Without any of the deadening material, just tapping on it would make it buzz. I covered the whole rear deck and the shelf (added like 5lbs to it. Now nothing buzzes or rattles back there no matter how hard that 12 is hitting and that thing gets LOUD! Literally makes my rear view mirrors unusable.Tips: use some utility scissors to cut it. Take your time, make stencils. And the rollers worked great to apply it.It's time consuming so prepare yourself, but it's well worth it.

better than nothing
i don't have anything to compare it to other than NOTHING, so let's do that. compared to stock aka no sound deadening this product works exceptionally well. it's easy to cut and apply, and seems to stick very well. i did use a roller which helped a lot. no complaints at all at this price point.
