Polyester Lining Black Fabric by The Yard

The fabric worked well for my project.

Needed some lining fabric. Very nice.

The fabric is a nice weight. Light, a little sheer and after washing it, the hand felt much better than its initial cardboard consistency right out of the package. My only star knock is that this fabric will fray. Not horribly but just a bit. I'm making ruffles and cloak pieces from it and I'm a little concerned that I won't be able to make a decent bias strip that'll hold down the line. I'll update after finishing the project and wearing it for a while.

Made a coat linings & it was perfect. Not too thin & wimpy, not too stiff..... just perfect.

Fabric is of poor quality. Plus they don't even cut it in a rectangle, as they advertise. (See Photos) By the time I trim this down to make it a true rectangle (it looks like it was cut by a kindergartner), I won't have the size fabric that I need. Plus the ends have some sort of short tassling that I will have to cut off as well. It's going straight into the garbage.

I actually bought this to conceal luggage in the back of a rental SUV while traveling. Perfect for that and it took up almost no room in the suitcase.

Wasn't what I expected but I will find a use for it. It's more of a sateen cotton than a polyester. Great for use in linings of bags and other accessories. There is no stretch to it.
