Great case as far as protection goes. Had to return this case as after only owning it for 2 days it started to get dirt stains on the sides that would not come off. Super disappointed about this as I absolutely LOVED the colours in the case I bought!! So, instead I had to return it and get the black one! I highly recommend considering this before you buy the colourful cases!!! If it was cheaper I wouldn’t have minded but for an almost $100 case I’d expect it to clean up better than that!!! Still the cases quality in how well it protects your phone is outstanding!! Just super disappointed in its ability to stay clean!!

I have always used the LifeProof cases. They work 100%! You can still scroll without any problem. So easy.I go camping a lot, walk my dog, use my phone all the time. I also drop it more than the average person.I’ve dropped it from 3feet in the air not (on purpose) on concrete, it has fallen in shallow water, sand, snow. Nothing gets in. When I go open my phone after a year or two to update the phone itself or the case my phone is always in pristine condition. Never a scratch or chip or crack on the phone itself. The outer case can get a bit dirty as expected. The screen can have a scratch here and there but never affects the phone itself.I have never used any other brands other than LifeProof because I’ve experienced the benefits of a good case. I’m just disappointed that they don’t have different prints etc. You’re limited to the selection of colour.

This absolutely is the best iPhone case there is. We had iPhones for years and went through quite a few case brands. None beats this guy.It is very comfortable to hold and provides a good grip without being sticky or hard to pull put of a pocket. The screen performance is also the best I have tested. No extra screen protector is needed for this case (I have dropped my phones lots!), and the built-in one is as responsive as the clear screen itself.I do prefer light and bright colours for easier spotting in the house and do not mind them getting to look a bit worn vs having a 100th black case that looks neat closeup but hides from you on any surface, including outdoors in the dark.I read a few concerns of the users and have a couple of tips:If you cannot hear anything than you did not buy the real thing. I asked the question before buying because I did need to have a warranty replacement on my very first Fre case after dropping it on concrete in -40ish Celsius weather. A corner chipped off, but my phone was absolutely not harmed. When the replacement came, it did have sound muffled: the sound ports in the bottom were simply not cut out. I had to make a few holes with a needle and cover them with a sticky tape that I peeled off the broken case. Problem solved. This case came in the original retail box and the sound is as clear as without it (I have an audiophile husband who is very picky when it comes to sound quality).If you cannot switch the silent mode on and off, try recasing the phone paying attention to the little switch and fitting it exactly into the case’s switch handle. From there it works brilliantly.And yes, it is fully waterproof, unlike the iPhone itself which is only safe to drop into water for a few minutes.

Cannot look anything up while on the phone. If I want to check my voicemail I have to take it out of the case. I’ve had the same issue with a previous one. Thought it was just a defect so I bought another one and same issue. It’s annoying when you call somewhere and it says “push one for English” gotta take it out of the case to even do that. Won’t be buying another one. Also another annoying thing…the rubber piece that is supposed to make the phone waterproof doesn’t stay in place when you take the phone out. Maybe that’s because I’ve had to take it out multiple time just to be able to use my phone, but my other one also had this issue.

This phone case is not good if you plan on using your phone for calls. I am not able to multi-task while on the phone because the iPhone XR has a sensor while the phone is on. This sensor turns the screen off while you are on talking (so that your cheek doesn't start doing things on your phone). This case activates the sensor, so the screen goes black if you are talking on it. I am not able to check voicemails, or press numbers for options when I call because the screen goes black. I am now on the hunt for another protective case.
