Bought this for a birthday present for my neice, she was very happy with it.

My granddaughter, who still loves stuffies, loved this. I think it’s fun and unique.

I've done reviews for other Scruff-a-luvs, and this one is much shorter and sweeter: I love it. I love the packaging for better durability both in-store and shipping, for ease of opening vs the boxes of previous Scruff-a-luvs, although I am really glad this plastic can be recycled here. Trade-offs!The wings for these wee beasties are really clever. They have a jointed plastic piece inside the fabric wing so you can open and close them at several fixed angles -- that means people can "mend" their "broken" wings over and over.The fur is a lot like the Polar Scruff-a-luvs, with shimmery tinsel-like plastic interspersed with the fur hairs. This doesn't make the toy any less soft, though! It just makes them shimmery and magical.My biggest question was: "Does the gryphon have a tail?". I'm fortunate enough that I get to answer it! Yes, it has a proper lion tail. I would have been thrilled with any of the three, but was secretly delighted by a mainstream plush gryphon.As usual, with extra care and patience and a sturdy comb, the results are great. Mine got a fair bit of trimming, but that's just to my tastes.Definitely my favourite one yet!Please pardon the mess, this was leading up to the holidays.

These are a type of item that either your child will really like or won’t. Be prepared to do most of the work if you want your Scruff a Luv to turn out nice. We have most of them and my daughter loves them but I wash them and dry them and my number one tip for having them turn out nice and fluffy is to use a hair dryer on high to dry your Scruff a Luv the entire way!
