Fits the new gen HP Omen 15, but barely
After having some laptop damage mishaps, I wanted to buy a hard case for my new laptop (HP Omen 15 - 15-EK0013DX). Took all the proper measurements (14.1" x 9.44" x 0.89") to make sure it would fit this case, and it does... but barely. Thankfully the pocket that holds the laptop in place is stretchy. I guess it's better to be snug than to have the laptop knocking around. The front pocket is useful for a charger and maybe a flat mouse like a Magic Mouse, but not much else. Don't like that the pocket is also tapered (for the design, provides no additional functionality). Only other complaint is that because of the handle on top, the bottom of the case is where the zipper is. Usually with laptop cases, the bottom is solid (and not zippered) for added structural security. I just wouldn't hold this like a briefcase for fear that the zipper gives out and the laptop spills out onto the ground, but so far, I think it'll do fine.
