Better than the classic plastic case

I recently bought a lightweight machine to replace my old reliable of 48 years, which is all metal parts and very heavy. This carrier will make it easy to store and carry.

I bought a beginner sewing machine and wanted a basic case to store it. It’s perfect for that.

This was such a great purchase. It is pretty and well-made. It fits my Singer Heavy Duty machine perfectly and has lots of room for other accesories.

First I want to say that the only reason I am giving this full stars is because it works great for what I’m using it for. Let me explain. I needed a nice size travel bag to keep all of my boxed airbrushes in. Only airbrushes. Now i have a sewing machine, but can definitely say that I would never trust putting my “Janome” inside this bag. The bottom of the bag has no support what so ever, causing major sagging and ill weight distribution issues. Meaning, that with the weight of a heavy name brand sewing machine, I would be worried that it would eventually rip the bag or bust out of the bottom. And on the same token, without a bottom brace in the bag, you would have to be very careful when putting the bag down, as you may brake or crack the base of your machine. My only suggestion would be if you did try using this for your machine, is by making a bottom brace with rounded corners to put inside the bottom. And maybe even tagging a few extra stitches on all the handle attachments just to reassure the factory threads are backed up and won’t fail. Listen, it is an ok sized bag with a side zip pocket, but I don’t think you could fit a larger machine in it. A medium sized machine would probably fit ok. Or if you have a small machine, you could also toss in a few supplies with it. But don’t expect this to be your only travel sewing bag. You will definitely need more space. That and the fact that it only has a cheaper plastic zipper that could easily fail, especially under the weight of a brand name machine. Like I said, my stars are based on me only using it to store about 15 airbrushes. But if I had to give it a star rating based on its use for a machine, I might give it a 3 to 4 star only if you used it for a small lightweight sewing machine. Don’t buy this for your “Adult” sized Janome. Haha. I guess if you only used this for a storage bag, and not a travel bag, then it could come in handy for those machines you want to keep bagged up so they don’t collect dust. I mean it’s a 20 dollar bag, don’t expect it to be a 100 dollar carry-all. Hope this review helps some of you out.

Considerando su costo, los acabados, el tamaño, el color y sus diferentes compartimientos se me hace bien, recomiendo el producto, la maquina Singer cabe perfectamente con sus accesorios.

Creí que por ser de un precio bajo, su calidad lo seria igual, pero es exactamente lo que yo quería; es ligera, mas amplia de lo que parece, le cave perfecto el pedal y confección de mi maquila y otras cosas dentro del compartimento principal y los compartimentos exteriores también son amplios y les cabe muchas cosas, esta acogienado y prpteje muy bien mi maquina es cómodo cargar al hombro y con las agarraderas en la mano, permite depositar con mucha precaucion, cuidado y ligereza. Creo que mi maquina estará bien protegida del polvo y humedad, característica de vivir cerca del bosque, ya que sólo la usaré cada 6 meses para realizar vestuario de Teatro para mis alumnos. Muy recomendable.
